No offence to the guys at Jizai Toys, while this is visyally good and G1 Accurate, it just looks like an articulated pretender!

I like it. It's simple and complex all that the same time.
I wonder why they stopped the other figures they had planned like Ironhide and Octane. Surely those would have been better then their Hasbro counterparts.

Eh, her transformation doesn't bother me.
I tend to like Jizai Toys' stuff, but they are WAY too expencive to ever buy.

Looks a little too tall and lanky. And I don't like how in the second-to-the-last-picture how her fists are taking on a blocky feel. But other than that, my small hate for 3rd party products still burns.

To be fair this looks like a pretty early prototype.
Judging from their other work, I'd expect their final piece to look a lot more polished.

Agreed, I think once it's all coloured up it'll look quite the fine piece I'll never own.
Jizai makes fantastic stuff, but just not practical for us 'merkans.

Hey, go easy on the girl, she still hasn't put her make-up on yet
In all seriousness, she probably will look better w/ paint, and, as mentioned before, she could feasably undergo some light retooling before the final release

This is cool !!! I love these 3rd party figures of G1 characters never given a figure. It would look great displayed with the Arcee and Medic figures I bought. Hope the get imported by a US dealer and I will buy.

Exactly, it's amazing how they start off with some blocky loking figure and then slow carve away t it. Also they do have a certain style of transformation mechanics, the feet nare a dead give away from who's the creator.
