If you are a fan of the new Kre-O Transformers toys then you might like to know that Hasbro will launch the full Kre-O website on July 1, 2011. They are also starting to be spotted at retail. Stay tuned for all the new Kre-O news here at Seibertron.com

KRE-O brings quality and innovation to the construction aisle. Each KRE-O TRANSFORMERS set is ‘MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE,’ with two types of builds: create a robot and then disassemble to build a vehicle, disassemble the vehicle to build a robot. Packed with play, most sets come complete with themed accessories and a poseable KREON mini figure in robot or human form.

i like the lego games but now i need a kre-o transformers game for the 360. now that would be totally tubular and radical to the max!!! :grin:

I'm still confused on wether or not DOTM is going to be released on 6-29 or 7-1.

'Cuz I went to see SUPER 8 last night (holy $#!^ was it awesome) and they showed the 2D trailer and it said 7-1-11, but we heard that the release date got moved to 6-29-11?

WHICH ONE IS IT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? :BOOM:

BTW, I have no interest on Kre-O. Not a fan of Legos.

The release date is June 29th. The trailers you saw were old, so they didn't have the updated release date.

As for these new Kre-o's, i like them. I'm a huge Lego fan/collector so this fits the bill for me! I hope the quality is up to par with Lego, as the video reviews seem to suggest they are. Looking farward to picking up Optimus and Sentinal Prime. Star Scream looks good too and hoefully we'll see a DOTM Megatron.

The website for Hasbro's Kre-O line has officially launched. If you are a fan of Hasbro's new construction toy brand, then you will want to check it out. It is packed with many features.

The Product section contains a list and description of the sets that are currently available and where they are sold.

The Games section is still under construction but it is coming soon.

The Video section contains digital build videos for your favorite sets.

The Kreons section gives you bios for all the available Kreon figures.

The Customer sevice section is where you can download PDF instructions or order replacement parts.

When I first read the news story with regards to these 'lego' type Transformers I literally started jumping up and down... Lego + Transformers = Wow! Back in the day I sat there for hours making transfromers with Lego and even had a shot at Optimus Prime..

... Then I managed to grab a screenshot of the instructions and the whole thing fell flat on the floor as they don't transfrom. Come on! They don't transform. They're still cool but me-thinks that Lego would have put more effort into this.

Oh well. :( (Thinks about buying a crate load of lego to have another go at Optimus)

As some one said above me "they don't transform" ... yet. I think this is the initial launch and if it's successful then they will continue to invest time and money into it. I have a four year old who loves Transformers (raised on G1 and Animated) and is just now getting into legos/kre-os. I bought him the small (aka cheap) Bumblebee set and he loves it. I plan on getting him more and watch him create his own charters from scratch. As for myself, I'll hold on until they do finally figure out the engineering to create some that actually transform. All in all, they are a step in the right direction and very cool.

The animations were fantastic! Just watching this trailer just kinda turned my views around about Kre-O. I might grab one set.

It's possible that the judges in this Kre-O talent competition may be biased! Check out the latest Kre-O stop motion uploaded by the Official Kre-O YouTube channel embedded below.

wouldn't megatron give starscream a lower rating for hating his guts for being disobedient and a constant backstabber and i believe shockwave and skywarp feel the same way as megatron.
