Fellow Seibertronian Cyberpath found an update from Hasui's Twitter, revealing how Masterpiece Wheeljack's weapon will stow away in vehicle mode. Unlike previous releases, Wheeljack's weapon integrates into his vehicle mode as seen below:

Transformers News: Masterpiece Designer Hasui Updates Wheeljack Information

MP-20ホイルジャックのビークルモード後部の画像です。変形方法が、いくらか見えてきましたかね? 写真では分かりづらいですが、手持ち銃であるハンドガンをエグゾーストパイプのように取り付けることができます。

Google translate:

This is a picture of the rear of the vehicle mode MP-20 Wheeljack. Deformation method, I guess we have seen some? It is hard to understand with the photograph, it can be installed as exhaust pipe a handgun is a hand-held gun.

Masterpiece Wheeljack is listed as an August release, until then, pictures will have to keep us going.

So if Wheeljack is set to be released in August, when are Bumblebee and Ultra Magnus to be expected?

Well that's one thing this guy has done right! The only thing I don't like about Sideswipe and Prowl is the inability to store weapons. Except for Prowl's shoulder cannons, that's sweet.

I prefer the plastic really, no dry rot, cracking, or flat spots from sitting in one position for too long.

yeah i agree, in the long run i prefer plastic too for practical reasons as you mention. I think only a couple of grapple's tyres survived from my childhood days. Though for aesthetics, and a touch of realism + a feel you're getting more for your money, rubber would be my preference. If anyone comes up with durable rubber it would be better.

Weapon storage too, this might be the best figure of 2014. I want someone to make a 10 piece mp Wheeljack accessory pakage.

Same here. Having problems with my G1 figs already with rubber rot. Unless you regularly apply Armor All to it. Rubber feels and looks good for the "realistic" presentation but you get the rot as a consequence.

How frequently? Don't want my MP-10's tires rotting anytime soon. ;)

Its funny. The rubber tires thing. I've got G1 toys I've had since the 80s with no issues. Sweet, lovely tires. RID Prime, however - they're dead. All of them. Had issues with the couple of Alternators I had, too.

What is odd, is as I collect dolls - never any issues with them. Whatever they make dolls heads from - they should use that. Its much less elastic, but still has a slight rubber feel.
