Yes, the socket brick is debuting with the tallneck lego set, and the mouth plate part may be entirely new - I don't keep up with new parts and parts in new colors very strictly though

Is it? Got'cha, I don't think Brickset mentioned it in their review, thats good to know. I know one new part is that dark grey ratchet part in the thigh assembly that I'm really excited for, I only MOC large robots, and I am thriving with the new ratchet parts that have debuted this year

And I was curious, so I checked up on you, and they did mention it in their review and photographed the new part. I didn't take much note of it at the time since there are a lot of unusual parts and colors in the Botanicals Collection.

I found regular retail listings for the Tallneck at Walmart, Target, Amazon and B&N, all sold out. I haven't seen anything suggesting it's an exclusive.
