Meg's cannon looks amazing in all black. I dig it, even if they weren't as creative as some of you... by the way I wanted your versions more, but this will do.
The Savage/Noble homage is really fun, and a big floating Megatron head (even if it isn't Beast Wars/Machines).
I'd have to look at the clones to see how they differ from HASBRO's and Windblade (besides the targetmaster). Not familiar enough yet with the H version to compare with the TT.

Good thing I'm a huge Windblade nerd, so I made these.

Actually, there is some nice differences in the clones. The takara has a richer blue. Their silver faces. I think the stripe on their arm transform joints are different. Certainly a little more than the Windblade robot mode differences.

No they're not:

Subtle, but important differences are Pounce's feet and Wingspan's wing tips.

Well, everyone forgets that Takara's are actually cheaper (by a technicality of Hasbro putting one in a $100 box set).

No Megatron rules decal?! Still love this guy more than the Hasbro version; usually I don't see much use in putting 10 to 20 dollars extra on a TakaraTomy TF if there would be little to no differences (or if a figure is painted differently while achieving the same results), but if a figure is given an entirely new paint job and/or new accessories, I'd more than likely buy it. Could care less about Windblade and the Clones, though.

I was actually custom painting my megs into this very color scheme. Except i was making the jet parts a different color, so in jet mode he could be machine wars megaplex. Was going to paint the headmaster green and purple to homage the bigger gen2 megatron/megastorm. Kinda makes me not want to finish

Thanks to the fellow Seibertronian Cyberpath, we have some update stock images of the recently revealed Takara Tomy Transformers Legends LG-61 Decepticon Clone set, LG-62 Windblade and LG-63 G2 Megatron! Mainly, the Takara Tomy website has shown off some 360° looks at the figures, plus some additional shots of the Windblade Titan Master, and the confirmation that the Target Master is simply called Targetmaster Windblade (ターゲットマスターウインドブレード), and no additional looks at Megatron other than the three main modes (so nothing on the Savage / Noble homage drone. Check them out below!

Windblade is an instant buy and I hope the last making her the ultimate for me. She's been replaced already twice. Megatron is a epic win and I'm thinking of making him my Megatron clone.

Finally I have a way to get the Decepticlones without having to buy the box or aftermarket prices. That Windblade face/head looks beautiful, but I still think my Takara Adv Windblade will continue to be my Windblade.

G2 Megs looks sick! Wonder how they'll make him work in fiction.
Windblade looks beautiful and I'm glad they decided to give her an actual sword, plus the Targetmaster (which looks great). Anyone else think her transector looks like some kind of Pteranodon in its alt mode with the way they painted it up?
As for the Clones, I still hate that they're Legends-Class. They should be Deluxes:
If I could get any of them, it'd definitely be Windblade. Alas, it just isn't possible.

I believe they are legends size because this would have been closer to their original toy size, but yeah I understand the feeling. The Jumpstarters were also smaller and were upgraded to deluxe. I think initially it was the idea to have a toy at each different size class by Hasbro for the box sets.

Funny thing is I was half hoping for a BWII Megastorm repaint from Megatron, but this Combat Hero repaint will go well with Laser Prime (making a deal with one of my cousins atm). Still wish it had Megatron Rules on it, though.

Actually I think the prominence of the characters comes into play as well. The jumpstarters are a bit more prominent in the IDW fiction as wreckers, so making them legends would throw them out of scale with their fellow wreckers, so I can see them going deluxe. The clones are not that prominent at all in the current fiction, so legends makes sense there too. Gnaw is another good example. The original toy was more of a deluxe, but in fiction they are basically a generic foot soldier, legends makes sense for the updated figure.
