After the initial stock photography shown in the story we covered yesterday here, we now have more official images for the newly revealed Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-42 Cordon - the police deco with retool of MP-39 Sunstreaker, as an homage to the latter's Diaclone predecessor - courtesy of Japanese hobby site Dengeki.

As you can see in the images below, we also have confirmation on some of the accessories, such as two chrome guns, with one being more of a gun/cannon arm attachment, changeable engine part display (in or out), the writing "Metropolitan Police Agency" displayed on the left and right doors in kanji, "CR 03" of the license plate as a Diaclone homage, and a quick comparison shot with other police themed Cybertronian MP-17+ Prowl (anime version). Not really sure what the "wing attachments" are, they haven't been shown in any photos. Neither has a second gun. Those are things that Sunstreaker didn't come with so it could be a clue as to why the price is so high by comparison.

Meanwhile the AmiAmi parts list seems more accurate:

-Cordon x1
-Rifle (Speed trap gun) x1
-Spare side mirror (runner) x1
-Character card x1
-Instruction paper x1

So I wonder which one is accurate? Seems like AmiAmi's since HLJ has the same list so where did TFS get their info from?

I have warmed to the head sculpt, in fact now I love it, so not too disappointed that it doesn't come with alternative faces. However, hoping this doesn't set the precedent for the new MP Megs - that needs to come with all the faces.

Well well, looks like we got ourselves a new mystery regarding Cordon's identity as, according to this Tweet from TakaraTomy, his profile says that he used to have a different name in the past.

His function is also given as "Legendary Warrior", and according to another user's attempt at using his Google Translate app on the profile text itself, it says something about Cordon having been someone who was imprisoned for past sins and did community service.
