I agree. If the preorder for this set was a tad cheaper I would have pulled the trigger.

In box they look bad.
But I do like the design & idea, plus they look good, so I really do like them. It's just the colour of the backgrounds to the boxes make the transparents look playschool...

I'd like these if I can strip the orange off, but than again, they are to rich for my blood, so I guess it realy don't matter anyway.

Prime looks cool but Screamer is ok. If Hasbro makes these i think i might get them. I like the molds and Primes colors are sweet.

Wow, you're right. That's a really nice repaint. Actually makes me like the design. However, as for the new versions, I really don't like them. Agree with earlier comment-look like Big Lots knock-offs.

went to the chara-hobby fair the other day
here is what i got...
chara hobby exclusive re-entry protoform optimus prime
and protoform starscream
Other than the Chara Hobby fair, you can get this from the secondary market
The figures are translucent...with yellow highlights to show their re-entry burns
