New details for Animated Season3?

Defences Prime of the Alspark boards has posted some interesting new details concerning Transformers Animated Season 3 character bios.
These he states come directly from the new Transformer Collectors club magazine, this issue is as we know supposed to come with character bios for the Transformers Animated cast.

Beware SPOILERS!

RODIMUS PRIME - CAVALIER
On the way "to becoming Magnus."

IRONHIDE - SECURITY
Good-natured countrybot.
(already fully previewed at the club site, I know)

RED ALERT - FIELD MEDIC
Her design takes some cues from her Armada namesake, esp. her left-hand module.

HOT SHOT - PYROTECHNICS
Armada look, Energon colors works well. Speedy but inexperienced.

BRAWN - DEMOLITIONS
Smaller'n 'Bee, stronger'n Bulky.

STRIKA - GENERAL OF DESTRUCTION
Pretty much the BM version in new colors.
...and LUGNUT's consort. O.O

CYCLONUS - SABOTEUR
...sounds a little like Dead End in the body of ol' rabbitears.

BLACKOUT - SHOCK AND AWE
Gigantic living legend. A number of Omega Sentinels aren't alive to spread his tale...
(...do they talk in THIS universe, who knows...)

SPITTOR - WASTE DISPOSAL
Walking trashpile. Eats you or turns you into a loogiemissile.

OIL SLICK - CHEMICAL WARFARE
...ooch. Created/uses weaponized Cosmic Rust.

Woah.

Now I see what the point of this toon is. Make the ultimate TF toon by combining every single aspect of every single TF incarnation, EVER.

I only have one word for TFA season 3.

for some reason i think that they are gonna make spittor like toad from x-men.

looks like roddy is still more successful than prime at becoming leader.

no comment on strika.i've never heard of her.

i also think that bumblebee is gonna laugh a brawn's size,then brawn will punch bumblebee and send him flying through the air.

and blackout is probably the decepticon version of omega supreme

and they NEED to put in bw depthcharge and rampage

Very interesting... I wanna see what Blackout looks like if they say he took out Omega Sentinels. On the same note, I want as Omega Supreme toy!!! I hope they make one very soon!

He looks like an animated version of his Movie self just with an animated Bonecrusher head.

Why cant they just call him Hot Rod? What the hell is so hard about that? Im so sick and tired of him being called Rodimus all the time. Hopefully season 3 wont have so many damn humans. And i hope they do Cyclonus well. Also glad that they decoded to bring in Oil Slick. Surprised they didnt hold off on the toy until season 3 came out.

This sounds pretty cool but they better not ruin Red Alert. Red's meant to be a guy. I believe. A schizophrenic one but none the less, a guy. Damn it. Who stuffed it up this time? I blame Marty Isenberg. I hope they put Obsidian in too, since they're doing Strika. But... I doubt it. I was never into the whole Fembot thing but if they do much more than Arcee and Dirge... eh... Great...

I personally prefer Rodimus. Wasn't the G1 character's name "Hot Rodimus" in Japan? I tend to think of Rodimus as being that only without "hot" at the beginning.

Is that pic of Blackout official? Hope he's as cool as his Movie incarnation who I see as Movieverse's original answer to G1 Soundwave.

One line of info on each and I'm hooked. Well apart from Ironhide. He looks like G1 Ironhide but I get an Energon Ironhide vibe for his character. Not a fan of his wimpy voice either. How come the Movie, Energon and Animated all make slag of their Ironhide characters?

Looking forward to seeing Animated's portrayal of my favourite Prime, Rodimus. Though I still prefer having the Prime as overall Autobot leader as is traditionally done in TF.

Love the show overall but am disappointed with how they portarayed Soundwave and Ironhide. Still, keep the crap human villains to a minimum and we should be good. Actually like Sari, Sumdac and Fanzone.

One question? Is Dirge the name of the female seeker?

Yeah Hasbro may be using Rodimus instead of callin him Hot Rod but I think the point is in Animated he's Rodimus Prime, he's already leadership material, got his own squadron like Optimus and Sentinel and he's being groomed to take Ultra Magnus's position as overall leader. Plus since they're putting Hot Shot in the show they probably dont want to risk people gettin the characters name's confused (yes there are people out there who are that stupid to confuse Hot Rod and Hot Shot)

Well, looking at the pic in the club mag, his official colors ARE more muted, and the red highlights are on his shoulders rather than below.

NO, we will not be posting scans of the club magazine on the website. The club has specifically asked us not to, and it only makes sense, because the paying members should be allowed the information first--it is part of why they pay for the club.

And Blackout sounds like the Decepticon equivalent to Omega Supreme. And yet, everyone thought it would be Trypticon.

Ironhide was in season 1, 2 already, albeit briefly.

I like the idea of Brawn, one of my favorite G1 characters!!! And Rodimus has a bow!!! Cool stuff.

Sweet, I'm so looking forward to season 3.

Even my girlfriend is getting into TF:A, which is awesome in that it allows me to share my TF passion with her.

Definitely looking forward to Oilslick too. I'm going to pick up TFA: The Arrival TPB when it comes out just to see his introduction. I wonder if they'll repeat or rewrite his introduction in the cartoon.

Judging by Rodimus's bio, it would seem that "Magnus" is just another rank in the Autobot hierarchy. So what was UM called before taking the rank? "Ultra"?
