New Gallery: Transformers Collaborative Stranger Things CODE RED

Wow, you had a lot of fun with this one! I do like it when there's a more fun element with the galleries.

I always thought Code Red started out as an Earthrise Ironhide partial that Ship of Thesiused it's way to becoming a full-on original mold. Just look at that back. It really resembles IH's shield and winds up as the hood. And the feet bear some similarities, still. Wish I had my copy with me. I always forget to really compare them.

Breaking the huddle early, Seibertron.com delivers the first full look at Steelsmash and Tundra Prime.

Seibertron.com takes the field today with a rivalry matchup worthy of prime time as two new Transformers Collaborative figures line up helmet-to-robot for an NFL x Transformers clash. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers both send out their newest cybernetic recruits, and our latest galleries give you a sideline view of the action.

Out of the tunnel comes Steelsmash, the heavy hitter from Pittsburgh who transforms from an official Steelers football helmet into a powerful Deluxe-sized robot. Built like a linebacker and ready to blitz, Steelsmash carries a removable helmet for robot mode along with a small football accessory for those fourth-and-goal poses. He is no stranger to roster changes either, later being recolored into Starblitz and retooled with alternate heads for KC-59 and Tundra Prime.

Across the field stands Tundra Prime, the Green Bay powerhouse rolling out of Lambeau Country. Tundra Prime converts from a Packers football helmet into a Deluxe-sized robot with the same removable helmet and football accessory. With a frame built to weather any frozen tundra, he brings a strong presence to the matchup and shares his tooling history with KC-59, Starblitz, and Steelsmash.

If you're a Transformers collector and not an NFL fan, then there is no "wrong one" to get. Picking one based on whatever criteria checks off a box or two for you is all that matters. I'm assuming we're going to get all of the teams at some point. I'll do my best to cover them all for fans of both properties to enjoy.

I personally can't wait until the Lions and Bears get announced/released at some point. I'm originally from the Detroit area but have lived in Chicago half my life. I root for both teams even though they are NFC North rivals.

Not a NFL fan, and I'm Canadian (I do shamelessly always bandwagoning the Montreal Alouettes for the CFL playoff though). So these are not what I care about even though I did play the sport for 2 years back in my high school days. I'd be more interested in NHL hockey helmets.

Gotta say, for a helmet-formers the mold is rather well engineered and comes out as normal a bot as can be. Tons better than those mask helmets in ROTB.

His bold blue color scheme also carries a familiar flair for Transformers fans, creating natural comparison moments in our gallery with RID Side Burn and even Optimus Prime.

And right before that photo, G2 Electro broke while I was carefully transforming him. The Ace Hardware Lube-E was still doing its magic on the gold plastic and he transformed with ease, until I got to his right leg and the silver plastic ball joint cracked. That was nit the part I was expecting to break. I Macguyvered his right hip with some of my daughters clear elastic hair ties to pull off the shots with a broken Electro.

I think i will try to replace the leg at some point or I might get an extra to keep in each mode. Haven't decided yet. Might just depend on what I come across.
