Is it possible those mini-cons are from the race of mini combining robots that the Lost Light encountered?

Starscream and Skywarp for absolute certain. Not entirely overwhelmed with Skywarp just from the picture but we all know that those pics don't always do the toy justice and I need him to round out the FOC Seekers. Starscream... that's just all kinds of bad-ass. Bit too much red for my taste but the body style makes the color a complete non-issue for me. Generations is going to kill my wallet between this year and next but I just figure I'm making up for all the figures I didn't pick up from the last movie line and the Prime/BH lines.

I can go for the Minicon 3 pack and Scoop with Targetmasters, Scoop being my favorite of the four figures.
Not trying to replace my FOC Takara figure Skywarp for a Hasbro version at all, I stay neutral about Armada Starscream.

I don't know if $53 is a good deal or not. Do we have any idea what the MSRP on the mini-con team is going to be? Is it going to be "Deluxe" price ($12-$15)?

They will indeed se retail release at some point. Maybe close to Christmas at this rate?

Yup. Though I'll agree it's a bit of a rip-off compared to the UT sets back in the day (they were sold a size class lower), we can expect them to be slightly more sophisticated than their predecessors, especially with the combination gimmick.
