Courtesy of Japan resident and Transformers collector extraordinaire, Alfes 2010, we have new images of the recently released, McDonald's Food Transformers. Transformers: Prime designs are used for the first time in Japan, as we see Burger Optimus Prime, French fries Bumblebee, and Soda Bulkhead. These are not McDonald's Happy Meal toys like the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee figures. Instead they must be acquired through further means, which are listed in this news post. Whether you think the Autobots are in your fast food, fighting back the calories or are just looking plain silly, check out the pictures below!

Kind of weird that they're releasing these before the show, I wonder if it means Prime will get a dub sooner than Animated did.

I love these, but not so much because they are Transformers as much as I remember playing with a transforming McDonald's cheeseburger, fries, and cup at my grandma's house as a kid. They weren't actual Transformers, but still, they were very similar. I wonder what happened to them. Probably destroyed or lost by the younger generation of grandchildren that came along after us.

Oh wow.. Thank you for bring me back to my memories of those toys! I still remember the hotcakes breakfast plater that turned into a terodactoal dinosour or something along those lines. Next to actual hot wheels, probabaly the best happy meal toys of all time!
