Man, that o/p looks nice 
Oh yeah, jazz looks really nice too, I guess; no seriously, all those little details really bring out the designs of the mold, especially on the face. the car mode also looks really nice, it's amazing what a little paint on some headlights can do to the overall look of the mold. It seriously puts hasbro's offering to shame

One thing for sure, TT took a risk and finally gave us (Bayformers and MP-10 not included) at least an Optimus complete with functional trailer.

Thinking more about it, when was the last time we got an Optimus design in a cartoon that actually integrated a trailer into his main robot body along with the truck cab (a la Star Convoy) instead of just the cab alone constituting his entire body (leaving the trailer as a separate piece)? Is this the first time this has happened, cartoon-wise?

To be fair, it was Hasbro Studios who came up with this particular character design. I'm pretty sure it is. It's also the first toy to have a functional trailer integrated with the main robot body since Star Convoy no?

I'm iffy on that one since he still had his back end as a separate piece for his standard robot mode, only using it for his Super Mode (a la both Fire Convoy/RiD Prime and Armada Prime), and that it's a little odd to refer to the back end of a fire truck as a "trailer".Cobotron wrote:Would Cybertron/GF Prime count?

No because his trailer is seperate and becomes his armour in a power up version. It's the same with Ultimate Optimus and Fire Convoy. What Sabreblade is looking for is a trailer that isnt a seperate piece of Optimus' robot mode.

I certainly wouldn't count the toy as such, but did he power up in the show, or was he just always wearing his wings? Been a while since I watched the show.
Sabr, your right about a fire truck with trailer.
I think this is the few times we've seen this in toy or show form.
It's usually a job reserved for Ultra Magnus.

Via the Takara Tomy Transformers page, we have an update on the new iteration of the Lucky Draw campaign taking place for the Adventure line - a gold plated Warrior class Optimus Prime (you can see the Hasbro version in its gallery here), in the limited number of 10 items, and a selection of 30 batches from the TAV line for 'second prize'.
The contest, running from now until 30th September, is open to collectors living in Japan, as shown in the poster below!

Also from Autobase Aichi we have an official image update - originally from TakaraTomyMall - on the Takara Tomy Transformers Adventure line, combining (heh) different toys from two lines - Hasbro Combiner Wars and Robots in Disguise 2015 - featuring redecos of Legends class Blackjack and Groove as TAV25 Runabout and TAV26 Override respectively, plus the Micron Shooter Fracture, its Micron, and Big Steeljaw. The Trigger-Bot well that is actually appealing not only will the colours look OK with the Protectobots they will also go OK with Victorian and Sky Lynx too (better than Wreck Gar does).
Does Runabout get some sort of prize for the most number of Decepticon logos in the smallest space - (Should have left the hood one off though as it messes up the look of him when used as a torso piece).
And even if Takara might like you to pretend you are not going to do that - people still will.

Very clever, indeed. Though, if I get duplicates so that one can be G1 Override, I'm still taking that sticker off, as I have with TAV Bombshell, Shrapnel, and Powerglide. Speaking of which, I still don't quite get why Takara went to the trouble of retooling those molds to have those circular chest indents for the stickers. Having the figures in hand, I can confirm they are unnecessary and that the stickers would have fit just fine on those figures if unaltered from the Hasbro releases of the mold. I know some of the proper Transformers RiD/Adventure figures have such indents. Was this an attempt to somehow "legitimize" these characters as belonging to the TAV line, instead of being "fillers" originally intend for Generations/Legends/Classics/whatever?
