I want one of those, despite the gold face, but I know I'll never get one. No funds or way to pay, let alone order, and forget about shipping. Same goes for EG Prowl.

Damn, that sucks! I was really hoping it was the wing-blade version. I'll probably leave my preorder in place since I already have Elite Guard BB and Prowl. They might as well release Ratchet and Bulkhead in Elite Guard deco so we can have the whole team.

You don't got the whole team until you've got these three, Blurr, Ultra Magnus, Jazz, Sentinel Prime, Jetfire, Jetstorm, Hasbro's EG Bee, Botcon Kup, Flak, Thunder Clash and Landshark, and TFCC Dion. EG 4 Life.

Assuming you're not joking, what would they do to differentiate a "space bridge engineer" version from the original? At least with EG you get the winged faction symbol and a snazzy new deco.

That's the Legends version. Available wherever Legends are sold in Japan. Same goes for Prowl and Bumblebee, there's even a gold version and there are galleries of all of them on this site.

For all we know, the space bridge engineer corps all wears a "spacesuit" off-white mixed with gunmetal gray color scheme, and has a fancy bridge icon (could go over one of Bulkhead's stars). Not necessarily original, I know, but a definite change from the tendency to use black on most of the other elite guard redecos...
Though yes, my post was made in jest, thought the sticky-tounge icon was an indication of that...
