Another newsworthy feature of these images is that we now have an unobscured back showing the Grimlock and Nightshade image for the cross sale. However, these are CG designs rather than the toys themselves so it is unknown if Grimlock will be a rerelease like Shockwave.

So far the only one I might have any interest in getting is Thrash as I like both modes. As for the show the premiere was alright but I'm just not into the animation style used for them in general, though the story does appear to have potential. Elita-1 doesn't look bad though, seems as if she's the only one to retain similarity to past versions.
Honorary mention is Nova Storm, the pic on wiki looks cool but I've not seen the character in action.
Shockwave always seems to look the same no matter what line he's in. lol

Yeah, not super excited about the legacy character designs, with the possible exception of Megatron. The new characters look interesting, though.

No, not in agreeance. Sunstreaker is proof that what your eyes see is completely different to how a camera lens sees light reflecting off different surfaces and this is just further proof of that. I'll be the judge of it when I see it in hand at a store.

Color matching on ER Sunstreaker isn't very good either, to me anyway. Seems like yellow is still Hasbro's worse enemy. When will Hasbro just give up on transparent plastic on Bumblebee & Sunstreaker?
I just had the rear windshield piece cracked on me with SS TLK Crosshairs.

I get strong "Cyberverse" vibes from these figures, and I skipped that line completely. That version of Shockwave in particular never appealed to me. It really does look like it's just the robot mode keeled over on it's back with all the limbs splayed out.
This'll mean more figures for those of you who like this line - but I don't see any that motivate me to buy, sadly not even Megatron.

That's fine, this line is clearly meant to be the main line on shelves to service kids and parents with no regards to us. And it's a testament that we are not the main group buying toys.
There is one bit I find really odd though, the lack of these toys in stores. Hasbro is the one behind the all of this so they have control over what goes out (as we've seen with the ROTB toyline). And yet there is no sighting of these toys anywhere even when the show is out and it's time to shop for christmas gifts. They are dropping the ball on this launch.

I wonder if what I've heard about retailers not having room in warehouses is true and that's why Earthspark hasn't hit yet.

The christmas sopping season is now right? So why wouldnt retailers just stock their shelves full of toys? Unless there is no space there, which could be the case. Are your shelves more stocked than usual?

There's no room for anything new like Legacy Wave 2/3, Velocitron Wave 2, the newest Studio Series or RED figures, the newest Vintage Beast Wars, EarthSpark, etc.

The shelves and pegs of my stores are fully stocked, but with stuff that's been available for months. Wave 1 of Legacy, the Legacy Beasts, Wave 1 of Velocitron, the last vestiges of Cyberverse, the occasional Studio Series figures (but none of the newest ones), the occasional RED figures (but also none of the newest ones), a small number of Vintage Beast Wars Terrorsaurs, and a ton of Buzzworthy Bumblebee exclusives that first came out back in the summer.william-james88 wrote:chuckdawg1999 wrote:william-james88 wrote:DeathReviews wrote:I get strong "Cyberverse" vibes from these figures, and I skipped that line completely. Stores have been clearing stuff out and sending new stock to places like Olie's because ship dates were pushed so far up starting in June. The belief is what's there is all they'll have and once December comes around stores might start looking bare. Your milage may vary though.

Undecided on Shockwave, I like the colors, but really don't need a 2nd of that mold, and his BAF part is optional.
The other deluxes are looking good. I am excited to get them. BBTS shows next month for the first 3 deluxes, so hopefully they come.
My stores just restocked for the holidays, and unfortunately not much good stuff. The most recent SS86 cores are there, but Legacy is still only wave 2, RED just got Galvatron and Shockwave, and SS is still stuck with Kups and Blurrs. Unfortunately, i am almost expecting I won't see Earthspark in stores until next year, the TF sections here have shrunk considerably and they already seem to have the holiday stock already

Here we have a review, coming from me, for Transformers Earthspark deluxe Terran Twtich. This was probably the most anticipated figure from the line due to it being a Nick Roche design and fans just liking how new the alt mode and character were. I also have an image below showing a size comparison. While this toy is in a line aimed specifically at kids, it is very much a standard deluxe in terms of complexity, size and articulation. More to come and enjoy!

Oh happy day! The Transformers Earthspark Toyline has been released in Canada. And not just in any old fashion but with its own three way showcase set up. The classes found are the deluxes, one-steps, tacticons and warriors. This particular sighting comes from the Montreal (Quebec) area. It's about time the toys showed up since both the show and the holiday shopping season are in full swing. There will be reviews for these toys coming out soon as well and we will share them with you as they come in.

Lots of Transformers Earthspark news and reviews coming your way since they came all at once in Canada, my home and native land. Here we have a review, coming from me, for Transformers Earthspark tacticon Megatron, Optimus and Bumblebee. These are the transforming finger puppet toys and you get to see how the gimmick works in these videos. Definitely fun for kids, as my 5 year old will attest, though the 6+ on the box is wrong in my opinion, as these skew younger than that.
In other Earthspark news, there is a listing of Deluxe Starscream that was found thanks to JTPrime17 and Voltrace.

Here we have a review, coming from me, for Transformers Earthspark deluxe Megatron. While it is as complex as a deluxe from any other line, the fact that all characters are deluxe sized makes him look very puny next to others, as you can see in the photos below. Also, while the articulation is standard, the giant bulky shoulders limit the articulation in that area which is a shame since many typical Megatron poses feature his arm extended forward at different angles to shoot his fusion canon. There are more reviews to come, enjoy!
