is the head sculpt news? either way its the first ive heard of it, thats awesome! i assumed itd be a straight repaint.

I think it was always assumed to have a new head sculpt.

I dunno about the new head sculpt thing, that looks like it just has the battle mask down.

Since the first pics were shown it was pretty obvious it would be a straight redeco of Bumblebee. We even hoped that TakaraTomy would give him a new Pagani car mode shell. Nope, no such thing. >:oP

Eh, I'll be getting him anyway, best we'll get. Not the first time the car model of the toy doesn't match the one on-screen (look at Dino). Again, I ask: why is it always the red cars that get screwed over?

A bit of a shame there's no new shell, but to be fair I reckon the costs of retooling him would be more than would be practical for Takara- he'd need most of his molds recut, to the point where he might as well have a whole new toy made for him. These things are pretty expensive to make after all. Kinda disappointed there's no new headsculpt though.

He looks nice in those colours mind you.

If Hasbro completed their prototype of Stinger, we likely would have gotten a Pagani re-shell. But they didn't, so we didn't.

Seibertron.com sponsor, RobotKingdom, has posted new in package images of the upcoming, and soon to be released, Stinger figure from The Movie Advanced line by TakaraTomy. RobotKingdom posted the big news on their facebook page with MOSC images of the AD-32 Stinger, and according to the post, here, he will ship out on January 24th.

No biggie, it's already been established that Stinger doesn't have a new head. The battle mask is just cleverly painted.
