New product images of PCCs Ultra Wave 5!

The Contructicons and Dinobots are awesome and must-buys for me. I'll pass on the repaints (Stunticons) though.

I'm just starting to get into the 5-packs with Skyburst and Bombshock, and I'm really impressed so far (after exchanging a faulty Skyburst however). Eagerly awaiting the Dinobots and Constructicons, the Stunticons I'm considering despite the bad rep of the Rallybots and Destructicons on which they're based. That would mean I'd have to get Crankcase and possibly Stakeout...

Ill buy the dinobots if I can get em on sale for 10 bucks like I did the combaticons. Im more impressed with the mini-con 2 packs. I dont even know why the 2 packs are in the same line. Nobody really cares about the drones. Who actually combines them with the 2 pack sets to form rainbow brite combiners ???

I am really looking forward to the DInobots and COnstructicons...both look more impressive than any of the previous molds.

Actually, I have left my bots combined with the 2-packs...I like the color coordination and combined modes more than the commanders thay came with. But since I'm at work I can't tell you which ones I left combined with what.

I happen to like the drones, thank you. And I would mix-and-match them with Commanders that have the same style, like the Aerialbots with Searchlight or the Constructicons with Sledge.

Definitely getting the Dinobots, might get the Constructicons. They do look pretty cool.

I do. I like the drones, and I like to mix and match to create new combinations.

Agreed. Peaugh has a review out of the Constructicons using Sledge as the commander and it looks really good.

I wonder if they ever will make a combiner that can also transform into something else. Or is that already been done?

I like the color scheme of the Dinobots and that they all share it to have a more unified look in combined mode. That's about the best thing I can say about these things though.

The more I look at pictures of the Dinobots, the more I love them. I've even come to like the weird parasaurolophus arm.

The other PCCs I don't like enough to get, but Grimstone I can barely wait for.

Every time I see those Dinobots they remind me of Pretender Grimlock. Not sure if that's a good thing or not...

I hope we get a 5 pack with the construct' drones with a repaint sledge!

Although I also prefer the ones with personal minicons over the drone commanders, I'm not exactly against the drones. I do agree about them not quite seeming like the same line though, since there is a bit of a disconnect between the 2 and 5 packs. I know the subject of them not having proper appendages has been beaten to death, but the lack of proper hands really hits home when I tack some drones onto Smolder, creating a truly imposing Decepticon...that can no longer hold Chopster in axe mode. Sure he can still be body armor, and it makes sense for the commanders to have some abilities unique to uncombined mode, but it still makes the whole concept less interchangeable.

Minor gripe aside, this is one line I'm probably going to end up being a completist with if it really has no life past the debut of DOTM (gave up on a comprehensive Bayniverse collection right out of the gate) My only other disappointment is that the Dinobots will apparently be the only animal based team, leaving no possibility of their drones being mixed, matched, and repainted.
