Is it a tolerance issue with the plastic used? Shadow Panther is great, but I knew I would love it because I already love the mold as Cheetor.

I saw Waspy a few times last week, but kept passing. I have the T-30 version and all this feedback reinforces my decision to skip him in Kingdom.

Whew, for once I successfully resisted the pull of plastic crack.

Hmm, don't think those are stock images, Terrorsaur looks really mistransformed there. Hips in robot mode look way too skinny, and I'm pretty sure his legs should be further up the body in beast mode. It's like the person who transformed him didn't know what to do from the waist down.

Although this IS the first time I realized he comes with teeny tiny spikes to put on his arms in robot mode to look more like the show model. Wonder how those are supposed to store in beast mode.

Yeah, I also had to resist the pull. Have seen him in stores a few times, but the T30 version is still pretty great, the Kingdom version doesn't really seem like an improvement (and is a step back, in some ways). Same with Rhinox.

The robot waist tab doesn't seem to lock, but I don't know how that would be an issue unless you're trying to have him in-flight suspended by the torso instead of by the waist, but maybe I need to test that.

For the alt-mode, my arms lock securely and only pop out if I'm using too much force in the transformation. I can't tell if the top of the robot legs are locked to the abdomen, but the tabs in the lower legs don't seem to be designed to lock to the arms, just to slot in. At any rate, it took some fiddling, but my alt-mode is very secure, and I can handle the bug from any position and it stays in place.

my waspy has none of these problems. well, the waist tab could be tighter, but otherwise everything locks into place securely. for people that are having issues with the robot arms tabbing in, make sure you rotate his hands the right way. they wont fit right if you dont, which will keep the legs from tabbing in correctly.

They look absolutely legit to me. Take a brief look at the history of Hasbro stock photos and you'll see the figures being mistransformed is a bit of a running thing. Almost like they just give the toy to a photographer that has no experience with them and say "do your thing".

Whether they're truly stock photos or not, the waist is definitely mistransformed in robot mode, and may even be in alt mode. The announcement images have the waist configured correctly, which also shows the hips in the correct position (e.g. not reversed.)

Are you new in this hobby?
Because mistransformed stock pictures are pretty standard fare for Hasbro.

So it seems like wave 4 is starting to have regular saturation in most areas. Thankfully Tracks is part of that, since it appears distribution of wave 3 was very limited. (never showed up in my area) Although I was able to get what I wanted of it from Amazon. Hopefully Scorponok and Wingfinger will be included with Pipes and Slammer to fill out the 5th and final wave when they are released.

I've been seeing cases of both waves 3 and 4 being put out together in a few stores near me.

Also wave 5 is already known, Airrazor and Blackarachnia will be the other 2 figures.

Well that's unfortunate. As popular as BA is, I'm pretty sure everyone who wanted one was able to obtain one as she wasn't hard to find. Airrazor wasn't seen as much, but not sure how much demand there is for her? But who knows, wave 3 could make a reappearance (wave 1 did during the summer which had even more BA's). Like I said, I am set, but for any who are still looking for wave 3 deluxe, I hope you are able to find them.

I pre-ordered Slammer on Amazon as I have little faith that wave 5 will actually show up in stores, but we shall see, I have been surprised before. Perhaps since Legacy isn't scheduled to start until later into 2022, the first quarter of the year could be Kingdom refresh waves.

I've had my Waspinator for at least a month and have had none of these issues people are describing, this sudden wave of "he's crap" comments confuses me. I like Kingdom Waspinator better than the T30 one, even.

I don't have him yet so I can't comment on his physical qualities, but his proportions look way more accurate, and his beast mode looks outstanding, like most of the Kingdom beast modes. Plus, yellow shoulders at last!

I don't have him and will be skipping him, but mainly on looks. I really don't like the look of the wasp legs on the Kingdom version. For me, the biggest draw is the transformation, and it sounds like this version is basically the same. So the only way I was going to buy is if it just spoke to me when I saw him on the pegs, and it did not. He doesn't look terrible to me or anything, just not good enough to get when I'm happy with T-30.

I did almost get one last week. I saw him in 3 different Targets on Wednesday and passed. Then on Friday Target added Transformers to the BOGO 50% sale that ended Saturday, but I couldn't find another one. I would have gave him a chance on sale, but instead re-bought Shadow Panther and Road Rage to get the sale price on them and then promptly returned them on my full price receipts instead.

With the holiday sales coming up, who knows, maybe I'll give him another chance, but only on a discount.

My only issue is that the tab that connects his waist to his upper torso in robot mode doesn't "lock" and is prone to coming apart if you try to pose him. It can certainly be put right back in there but it's purely friction holding it, not a click tab or anything. Not a deal breaker by any means.

Ohh Terrorsaur, what have they done to thee...

Beast mode:

Legs are too far apart and not pushed up onto the torso enough, giving him a "I'm squatting in the forest" look.

Robot Mode:

Crotch is backwards, feet are backwards, torso is not collapsed down completely.

This is what the sitting beast mode should look like:
Eagle.jpg

As for Waspinator.. yes he's loose. The toros does not lock in in robot mode. And the Wasp legs get in the way.

Outside of that he's fine. But I'm still a bit disappointed with him. Still Megs needs minions to command.

I'll be happy when Terrorsaur ships and can be reunited with his master. Then just hoping for Tarantulas and Inferno to complete the season 1 Predacons.

I don't care about his alt-mode accuracy, TBH. I'm concerned with his robot mode likeness and that he's a season one Predacon.

Then you are covered. The robot mode as we have seen is pretty much spot on to cartoon Terrorsaur.

Here is the correct robot mode for him:
