I like the deco on the Matrix, but I think I actually prefer the paint apps on the original. While I give props to the figure being show-accurate and having colors that "pop," the muted transparent and grays of the original just seem more fitting for a Transformer. Just my opinion, anyway.

I have the Korean release of the original...and the Target exclusive Nemesis Prime, and Ultra Mammoth, but may just have to quadruple-dip for this guy.
Hopefully enough positive reaction to this show-accurate deco might lead to a wider DVD release of said show.

Just ordered one off AmiAmi. I feel like I need to get RM Lio Convoy to go with this and my RM Beast Convoy. I think the RM figures scale better with him since he's a bit short than you'd expect someone with "big" in their name to be.

For Lio Convoy, I recommend getting the one from Legend Commander Collection instead. Its deco is both nicer and lacks the tampographed Autobot 
symbol that both of the RobotMasters ones had. And its much easier to track down for more affordable prices that either of the RobotMasters versions.
There's even one on Amazon.com right now for less that $60 USD and with free shipping.

Someone should talk me out of this, I keep looking at him and he's so dang gorgeous and I would like to add him to my Beast Wars shelf, but really shouldn't.

I think he is amazingly gorgeous too, thosr colours really pop, and i know its a fun mold. If i did not already own it, i think i would need a looooot of convincing not to buy him.

The Good
From the images, all the gold color has been changed to yellow orange. The gold in my original has "faded" despite my minimum touch policy on his delicate parts.
Left arm seems to be solid plastic. I really hope so as the original's transparent material in my version just broke off in the socket connection to the torso (got a replacement part from the Korean.
The Bad(?)
His face pain job. Maybe it's just the not very reliable PC images but the details seem muted. The original's silver aluminum really accentuated his badass visage!
Just a few thoughts anyway. Get him while his there folks and hopefully this won't be GodFireConvoy par deux

Well he is both a shellformer and parts former. And this is twice the price he originally retailed at. Maybe check if those 25$ ones on ebay are still available?

I got my replacement arm from a loose but grade A Korean Big Convoy but unfortunately, even loose, the price has already shot up.

-The deco is bright and jaw dropping.
-The mold is a big badass bruiser.
-He has a giant ***off cannon.
-He has a removable Matrix.
-He's not as outlandishly expensive as the other newer Encore's.
-He's so awesome that its a miracle that all that awesomeness can be contained in a single piece of plastic.
