3 shades of red plus orange, yuck - they should have gone G2 on this guy.

Looks sweet, glad I'm getting one. I do wish they'd done his helmet horns and especially the wings behind his shoulders in orange, to imitate the G1 figure's towering shoulderguns.

I would like to see what some kitbashers can come up with regarding the head.

And what are they going to call the former Technobot's partner? Computron? I can get used to it's deco. Going by the Universe bio, he's supposed to turn into a "heat-ray rifle", so the deco fits nicely.

1/3 because a new head isn't warranted, 1/3 because the existing head's pretty good, and 1/3 because IMO a new head (especially one based off G1 Strafe as he appears in the Universe bio i linked to earlier in this post woulda fraked up the transformation from robot to jet mode. The red and silver become white and red on the G1 version, but even that's better left in G1 IMO.

Could someone tell me, please, how anything resembling Cyclonus could make an Autobot? These repaints are just examples of being L-A-Z-Y. Why not take the already recycled to death Classics Seeker mold, paint it black and white, slap an Autobot insignia on it and call it Air Raid?

I like the target master - that gold chrome looks pretty slick.

If this was a US release, even an exclusive, I may get it, but I'm not spending that kind of scratch on this redeco.

I don't not like it but I don't love it either. Seeing this, I can't decide whether this is what I really wanted to see or if my heart was set on the G2 colors.

Those comments aside, he's interesting. I do wish his faceplate would have been different-a modern update of G1 Strafe, not really his whole head though. I also wish the jet tip would have been orange instead of red.

I'll still probably pick him up.

It looks pretty good, but I just can't see this mold as anyone other than Cyclonus. To me he's "Coast Guard Cyclonus"

As a nameslapping repaint tagged Strafe, that freakin' blows.

As a potential figure representation for Shattered Glass Cyclonus, that's a possible win.

With the photoshop so far...looks oookaay. I don't know what else they could really do. I only see a Con with this mold however. Still, I'm waiting to see some actual photos. Prob my least favorite looking exclusive to date on one of my more fav cls/uni mold.

No surprise that the other day, all preorders at BBTS were gone. Now there are 150 available. I suspect that number will grow as others get a glimpse at him.

Strafe is definitely polarizing.

Love the colors and the toy overall ... but $100.00 ..hmmm ouch ... For that amount I think I'll continue completing my Masterpiece collection

One of his defining traits were the orange/yellow wings which mimick the spolier Hot Rod had. Also, the chest coloring is wrong.

I don't like the colors on this guy, they would look better on a boxy design then on this, although his altmode and target master looks awesome.

Not a fan personally,wouldnt pay £13 for that,let alone the going prices.

Hated it at first, kinda digging it now though. The alt-mode looks terrible in those colors, but the robot looks pretty clean.

Nightstick is blingin' now! I'd really like to just buy the targetmaster on his own lol!

No amount of cross-eyed glances makes this look in anyway like Strafe.

Pass, like a majority of what constitutes Universe another poorly chosen repaint. I thought Henkei was better than this.

Having another Target Master is always welcome, but that mold is Cyclonus and that's that! I love the color sceme and the chrome colors are awesome too! I would love to see Hasbro push new Target Masters in the future.

Sunstreaker in red with a slightly diferrent transform and a new head I can accept. But how in any way can that mold be anything other than Cyclonus? It looks camp. lol

At first I thought this was pretty cool but the more I stare at it the less I like it.

The mold really is Cyclonus and only Cyclonus.

I have two on preorder, I will have to see more pics to decide whether to keep them.

It is just utterly RIDICULOUS how they can take a figure slap some paint on him and call it someone else and we as consumers go for it HELL NO! I am bigger than the biggest tf fan but no way in hell is Cyclonus suppose to be a repaint of anybody. He is my favorite character and i am not being biased but be serious other than the colors where in da hell does he look like strafe??????

That's about it. I suppose not having a nosecone on his chest helps. And he does have tall shoulders, though Strafe's were tall due to cannons.

It's definitely not perfect, but it does look cool. For some reason I have an easier time buying it as Strafe in vehicle mode (even though the jets are totally different).

Ummm... not feeling this one at all. It looks like people said, a coast guard or shattered glass Cyclonus.

Love the repaint. Hate the price. Count me out.

canceled my two pre-orders. I went from liking him to slowly hating him the more I looked at him. I felt the same way about Wildrider.

Both did not convince me they were other characters. They just look like wacky repaints.

At this point, he's an figure that I might just keep MISB. I don't see the need to open him, but I will get him just cause he is an exclusive. Since I don't collect much ne more, this won't be to bad.
