Looks sweet, glad I'm getting one. I do wish they'd done his helmet horns and especially the wings behind his shoulders in orange, to imitate the G1 figure's towering shoulderguns.

And what are they going to call the former Technobot's partner? Computron? I can get used to it's deco. Going by the Universe bio, he's supposed to turn into a "heat-ray rifle", so the deco fits nicely.

1/3 because a new head isn't warranted, 1/3 because the existing head's pretty good, and 1/3 because IMO a new head (especially one based off G1 Strafe as he appears in the Universe bio i linked to earlier in this post woulda fraked up the transformation from robot to jet mode. The red and silver become white and red on the G1 version, but even that's better left in G1 IMO.

I'm a fan, and you can get for less than $100 shipped. Look around.

I like the target master - that gold chrome looks pretty slick.

I don't not like it but I don't love it either. Seeing this, I can't decide whether this is what I really wanted to see or if my heart was set on the G2 colors.

Those comments aside, he's interesting. I do wish his faceplate would have been different-a modern update of G1 Strafe, not really his whole head though. I also wish the jet tip would have been orange instead of red.

I'll still probably pick him up.

No surprise that the other day, all preorders at BBTS were gone. Now there are 150 available. I suspect that number will grow as others get a glimpse at him.

Strafe is definitely polarizing.

Didn't like him at first glance but he's growing on me. He's not "apply-for-a-credit-card-in-Japanese" worth of good though.
