Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, Omegatron, has been on touch, letting us know that a reddit user has not only gotten their hands on the forthcoming Transformers x Back To The Future collaboration figure Gigawatt, but also uploaded a video review of the figure!

The figure uses the engineering of Deluxe Class Siege Sideswipe the same way that the Transformers x Ghostbusters Ectotron used Combiner Wars Voyager Class Hot Spot as a base.

The reviewer spend almost 10 minutes on the box and paper, but he completely skip the transformation.

Is it just me or does it look like it was 3D printed. The horizontal lines on the hood look like 3D printed toys. I kind of hope the release does not have that. I would be kind of bummed. Still waiting for mine >:oP

Out of curiosity, have you seen a DMC DeLorean in person before? It has an stainless steel brushed metal look to it, which is what this toy is replicating. You want it to have that look.

Preorders sold out at E.B Games.
I'm glad I secured mine just in time!

I have only seen the one they staged at the Puente Hills Mall (AKA Twin Pines Mall) on October 20,2015. I was only hoping he did not get taken by someone at a flea market. The review from Mr Stan said the same thing. Kind of a bummer for me, but nothing I can't fix with my mill to smooth out every surface. I can't wait :BANG_HEAD:

For once, Prime VS Prime was not the first.
But his video review is definitely better than the "Reddit guy".

Greetings Seibertronians! We've got more brand new video reviews of the forthcoming Back to the Future x Transformers crossover figure, Gigawatt! Which appears to have started to turn up in collectors hands.

The first new review was shared by fellow Seibertron user, -Kanrabat-, and was created by fellow Seibertron user, and YouTube toy reviewer, PrimeVsPrime.

The second comes to us from another Seibertron user, and YouTube toy reviewer, Chuckdawg1999, who also has this to say about the figure:

Chuckdawg1999 wrote:I really dig these collaborations between Hasbro and other pop-culture entities. Gigawatt celebrates the 35th anniversary of the first Back To The Future film, yes it's been that long. Utilizing the core of Siege Sideswipe Gigawatt really encompasses the heart of Mr. DeLorean's modified automobile. I highly recommend the figure for Transformer and Back To The Future fans.

I'd love for the next transformers collaboration to have four teenage mutant ninja robots that transform into turtles

That would actually be brilliant since they could just repaint the same mold 4x with a set of weapons.

The Collaborative line is for making stuff from non-toy-based movies into Transformers. TMNT is the property of Playmates, one of Hasbro's rivals.

Oof haha just wishful thinking on my part, I appreciate the clarification as to why that wont happen though

Maybe 3rd party will go with the idea someday

Strange, but yes, a Transformers Kitt would be awesome (would also be the first collaboration to not need to invest a character!)

I could see the Earthrise Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, or Runabout/Runamuck molds working as a mold base or engineering base for a KITT.

I don't agree about the Cliffjumper mold. Too small. Wheeljack would be iffy. But Sunstreaker? Definitely. The bot must not be too similar to Gigawat after all. Speaking of which, I really wonder how Kitt would look like in bot mode. I bet it would have nice callbacks to David's character.

Aren't Runabout/Runamock remolds of Cliffjumper?
