New Video Reviews of Transformers Cyberverse Repugnus Revenge Set

Posted by ZeroWolf Aug 11, 2020 at 5:01pm CDT 13,698 views
Greetings Seibertronians! We have more Cyberverse video reviews to share now, both for the recently released Repugnus Revenge set! This set featured four figures, a redeco'ed 1 step changer of Repugnus (now in a green livery sporting Decepticon markings) and three different coloured mini Repugnus figures that also transformed. This set is similar to the already released Sharkticon Attack set with the break down of figures, and both near the Transformers Cyberverse Villains subtitle.

The first video review comes from fellow Seibertron user, Lore Keeper:

The second video review comes from YouTube toy reviewer, TFA 1024 - The TF Addict:

Have you picked this set up? What are your thoughts? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Robot mode looks cool. The shoulders reallly gives the vibe he is made out of a city.Alt mode is simple, but the Transformation gimminck is cool.

Makes me wish that Tidal Wave appeared on Cyberverse.

Day 224 of waiting for Transformers Armada Masterpiece news.

Got my Warrior Windblade and Spark Armor Jetfire today, have some thoughts on both.

Windblade is pretty nifty. My only complaint with her is her lack of head movement. But she's a pretty design, and pretty well colored and painted. Gimmick is pretty fun too. I also appreciate the amount of articulation on her, considering she was an old warrior too. I like her, she looks great with Bee.

Jetfire is also really fun. It was a competition between the spark armor and warrior one, and the spark armor looked cooler, had more play features, and matches Sky Byte in size. I like the white and red used on him, it's very sharp. Transformation is also pretty fun. I like the robot mode a good bit. The only real complaint for me on him is the tank treads, which are hindered by the wings, and they don't really fit nicely anywhere else.

Good additions. Now I'm down to needing a Scout Wheeljack, scout Shadow Striker, Iaconus, and Thunderhowl. And hopefully the rumored ultra Skullcruncher. and I need Thunderhowl to complete Maccadam.

I really like this figure, it's a shame they never went and repainted that mold again. I think it would have looked really nice stealth colors to go with Hot Rod.

Speaking of stealth I just now realized we never got a stealth Bee in this line. After Prime and RID I just assumed he got a Warrior class stealth figure in Cyberverse.

I think they saved that for the one-steps and scout. He got some stealth colors in those 2 sizes

Greetings Seibertronians! We have exciting news for all Cyberverse toy fans as a new toy has been leaned gor ghe Ultra Class line in the series, and it's Skullcruncher! He apparently shares the gimmick of others in the Ultra Class, being that he has flip up Energon armour. Twitter user, ARCTIC_STORM, has shared the images on social media, saying he got them off the Discord channel for TF Wiki, where they had sourced it from is currently unknown. Fellow Seibertron user, Sabrblade has also shared the images in the Energon Pub.

Some fans on Social media have been quick to cknpare this with the version released recently for Titan's Returns. At this junction we have no pictures of alt mode

Hard to determine, and too early to tell, but looking at the differences between my one and this new guy, I can say that the Cyberverse Skullcruncher is not an altered Titans Return Skullsmasher figure. This thing looks pretty good to be honest, and I love the crock head that looks like it comes out of the beast mod crock head. I mean, I love doing that with my TR Skullsmasher anyway, so why not make it a feature?

Well, yeah, since Cyberverse Ultras are bigger than Generations Deluxes, roughly Voyager-sized.

Isn't it something they've done before for the cyberverse line? Looking at my TR Gnaw and the Cyberverse one sat side-by-side I can definitely tell that they used the TR version but altered and embiggened it. Or is that just my imagination?

Different molds, one inspired the other.

That is one hell of a gimmick! And yes, the titans return toy definitely seems to be the inspiration

I just like how with all the similarities to the Titan's Return figure, this one has the obvious improvement of actually having heels and a solid platform that make the feet

Got my Shadow Striker in today, she's actually not too bad for what she is. I like her. I wish she had a better figure, but this still isn't bad

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user and YouTube toy reviewer, Chuckdawg1999, stopped by to let us know that he's done a new video review of Transformers Cyberverse One Step Ratchet!

Heres what Chuckdawg1999 has to say about Ratchet:
chuckdawg1999 wrote:It's a new One-Step figure and you know the drill. These are simplified figures that are meant more as fiddle toys than full "Bells and whistles" Transformers. In the Cyberverse line these One-Steps have the bonus of a little action feature. In Ratchet's case two blades can spring-loaded, flip out of Ratchets arms. For most of you, you've made your decision on One-Step figures already but for the rest, give Ratchet a chance.

We've embedded the review below for your convenience:

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user and YouTube toy reviewer, Ham-Man, has dropped us a line to tell us that they have just done a video review of the recently released Transformers Cyberverse Battle Call Optimus Prime!

Check out his thoughts on the figure and check out the embedded video review below:

Ham-Man wrote:So much play value here, I lost a lot of time on this one. Gimmick aside he is still a great Prime figure, it's rare especially in this kind of line for the gimmick not to adversely affect the playability and poseability.

This guy just arrived, and he'll be one of 2 Thunderhowl's I ultimately end up getting. He was cool enough as an Ultra to get 2 of, plus they both do some very different things.

He's quite a neat Ultra class! The amount of articulation in his legs and arms is really good, he's Siege level of posing. Still needs a head and waist, but he's seriously quite nice to move around! I love the wolf head sword too. Tail is a bit bothersome in robot mode, it kinda gets in the way, but it's not bad, plus you can use it as a scabbard, even if it and the cape clash a little.

He's really worth it. He, Clobber, and Rack n' Ruin have proven to be great ultra class figures. I'm glad those 3 got more effort put into them!

There are multiple characters from recent shows that I hope get absorbed into the wider TF world, and he is certainly one. He was a pretty gun guy to have in Cyberverse, and I would not mind him, Clobber, Meteorfire, Hammerbyte, and Wild Wheel showing up more.
