We have an official listing from Amazon Japan for Transformers Masterpiece MP-49 Black Convoy. This is however, the same thing as Nemesis Prime since he has a black, teal and red deco with a Decepticon symbol. It is a straight redeco, as even the head is identical to the original Masterpiece Optimus Prime V3 release.

He comes with a limited set of accessories is priced at ? 21,853 plus taxes (where applicable) on the website. The description indicates that the voice chip has been removed for this release.

The teal blast part is a little weird, would've preferred purple.

Also a real bummer on the loss of the voice chip. It makes it cheaper, no doubt, but it also means the backpack will be less justified on this release.

Otherwise, it's a great MP44 alternative

Ok, those who've been talking about getting it at a lower price from Japanese sites: which site will probably give me the lowest price after shipping and tax and whatnot? (note: I live in California, so shipping from Japan usually isn't super expensive)

EDIT: ok, just successfully made an Amazon Japan account, but when trying to order the figure, it says it won't deliver to my address. Do y'all usually have it shipped to someone in Japan and then they ship it to you, or did i just probably do something wrong putting in my address?

I'm with those who prefer MP-10B. While this mold looks good as Cartoon Optimus, it just looks less interesting as Nemesis since both the red and the blue are replaced with the more monotonous black, and the greater lack of details is more emphasized with this version than with the Optimus version.

What's more, using MP-10B as Nemesis while using MP-44 as Optimus allows Nemesis to have his own unique silhouette while still sharing Optimus's basic appearance. Plus, the MP-10 mold gives Nemesis a more aggressive, muscular shape compared to the MP-44 mold's more docile, leaner shape that suits Optimus way more than it suits Nemesis.

Ok, nevermind about the shipping address thing, it just turns out the current cheapest seller doesn't ship overseas.

Does it matter which seller I choose, or will it still give me the cheapest price any seller has it for between ordering and shipping?

EDIT: Never mind, I've now ordered and the listing I got noted the "guaranteed minimum price on pre-orders" thing so I think I'm set.

Yes you are set. And only Amazon Japan themselves is sure to ship to a US adress.

Also, the amazon japan listing confirms that for now, a new number can be given to a redeco if its a wide release (though it is probably a coincidence anyway)

And Sabr, does the name wirk now that its a decepticon symbol? Or no?

It looks nice but honestly I like the look of MP10B more. Something about cartoon accurate Optimus in Nemesis Prime colors doesn’t look right to me.

Looks more like Prime in the worst possible Decepticon disguise than it does an actual Nemesis Prime. it doesn't look evil enough to be Nemesis Prime.

So no electronics and no trailer. Maybe no human figures too.
So the big question is, how much will this be? Because it would be a chance to own the MP-44 mold at a relatively reasonable price.

We know all the answers. It will be 200$ and there are no human figures, the list of accessories is in the article.

Eh.... I'm not that exited at that price. Because when factoring the exchange rate, shipping, and sureshot custom fees, this will be a 400 Leaf Dollars figure.

If you order from Amazon Japan, it will probably come out closer to 200$ leaf dollars when all is said and done than 400. This isnt an exclusive this time so you'll get that MSRP discount.
