Still, Arcee will always be the first name in female TFs that most fans think of, and a win could help guarantee a proper G1 toy of her, so I couldn't exactly complain. Just a preference.
Not sure why the spike in Devy's popularity this year, but yeah, he's overdue, so he's got my vote.

Nah, they have to compile all the fan sites nominations, and then put them up on HASBRO's site to get the community to vote there.

Arcee's popularity likely spiked from her Prime counterpart moreso than her G1 counterpart.Autobot_Benz wrote:No Love for Rattrap boooothere is more to Transformers than G1. For booting up coal.
After all, Prime Arcee was more of a character while G1 Arcee's roles have only ever been "The Chick" or "The Psychotic, Murderous, Violated Chick".

Bumblevivisector wrote:If I'm just a tad disappointed, it's because I'd really like Blackarachnia to be the first fembot inducted, rather than Arcee. While Blackarachnia's BW and Animated incarnations are just similar enough to be lumped together, inducting every Arcee from TF:TM to Aligned together as the same character (per past HoF policy) just seems disingenuous. Blackarachnia was genuinely bad-ass long before any Arcee followed suit, and complex without any major contradictions of character traits.

Couldn't have put it any better. My thoughts EXACTLY.

Seriously though, I'm pretty happy with the results for Seibertrons poll. Except for Rodimus of course, but the other choices work for me! Here's hoping Dev comes out on top in other websites! We REALLY need a new Devastator figure!

This could be the year that those two make it in.
Then again, it's not like the Hall of Fame is anything that special anymore.

If they hadn't stopped doing auto-inductees, those two would have been obvious choices for either last year or this year.Rodimus Prime wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Rodimus and Arcee seem to be the most ubiquitous winners across several fansites.

Eh, not to burst your bubble but, you see all those bots logged in at the bottom of the page that are on more often than me? They're not just lurking, they're gathering every tasty bit of info you care to share.
If you truly wish to escape what you describe I suggest unplugging your internet right now and tossing your phone in the toilet.

I'd also like to apologize if my reply to that came off as terse as I meant no insult to you, its just that I am not a fan of the social media revolution, most likely as I am more than a bit anti-social as you may have surmised

They only have the data that YOU provide.
Did anyone else get an error when they voted?
Posted by Sabrblade on June 13th, 2014 @ 6:21pm CDT
Or at least they WOULD if not for Hasbro restricting this vote to Facebookers only.

Quick lesson on Facebook.
Facebook is designed so that you can share with everyone, even people who want to hack your company. This makes Facebook a major security risk for anyone even though you can make certain things private. It would be best if hasbro would have the poll on their site as it is slightly more secure than Facebook. >:oP
By the way, if you want to destroy your phone, drive down the interstate and throw your phone out the window into a ditch!

YES I did!Burn wrote:Did anyone else get an error when they voted?
But when I tried voting a second time to be sure, it wouldn't allow me because I'd already voted today, so I guess it went through...?
So, yeah, Facebook voting, big step down for TFHoF.
Of course, anyone who wants to could just sign up. The only reason I ever started a Facebook page was to win BBTS credit or some other contest, and now it's mostly a dump for petitions I've signed. I hardly consider it the greatest threat to my privacy online.

Oh well, at least 2 Beast Wars characters made the list. I was worried when I saw Seibertron.com's nominees, which only included Blackarachnia.
Hopefully the Beast Wars fans will step it up again this year and pull out another win. I really want Has/Tak to keep it going with the Generations Beast Wars stuff.
