Possible Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-42 Diaclone Sunstreaker Listing

While there are still no images to share, we do have confirmation of the listing reported on yesterday of a new Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece figure: MP-42, being a supposed redeco of MP-39 Sunstreaker in black and white police car colours, much like its Diaclone predecessor!

In more of a speculation mode: the price shown in the Japanese listing shows a 15000 Yen tag, meaning that there is an increase of 3000 Yen compared to the original Sunstreaker release - does this mean extra accessories, or some added feature? Makes me think of Cordon, as in Cordon Bleu, as in it's getting to be lunch time and this car is making me hungry.

So Cordon is a shattered amalgam of Laserbeak? That would make Sideswipe Buzzsaw.

Plus, they are also leaving the door open for a retool of MP Mirage for this guy, further down the line.

I don't know the context of that reference. But when it comes to altmodes, I looked it up, and they are more or less the same thing:

I think the movies did a better job making Barricade a memorable character. Now when i hear a character with the name Barricade, I get excited.

Still totally hoping he/she is a con so it can be a G1 Barricade of slightly different origin

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian Sabrblade, hot on the heels of pre-orders, we have news from the Shizuoka Hobby Show, where MP-42 Cordon AKA Diaclone Sunstreaker has been revealed in full!

The most notable retool from the base MP-39 Sunstreaker mold is a brand new toy inspired head, featuring the detailing many missed from the inside of Sunstreaker's ears (Sunstreakears?).* Also included is a new police lightbar on the roof/chest, new shins featuring new detailing, and a new gun. This new image comes to us from @brickonator on Twitter.
