The chances that I buy that Grimlock are low... That is, unless it is 50% off so that I can customise it into Beast Megatron.

I wish that Scorponok at least had some sort of leg movement, it just continues to be cool

Meh, I'm forgiving it for the huge, gimmick filled nonsense that he is.

In Demand Toys got some publicity stock photos for this line and one of them shows us our first look at Wheeljack's toy and... he's kinda bizarre, even for this line. He looks more Jazz simply colored like Wheeljack, complete with his helmet colored like Jazz's (with black painted around the ears so it looks like a Jazz/Wheeljack fusion helmet) and a front-bumper chest.
He doesn't even have a wacky new altmode that leans into the "fun" of the line like Megatron, Snarl, and others do. He's just "Wheeljack, but he's shaped like Jazz for some reason".

There are more pics in the link, but these two are the ones with Wheeljack.

I don't understand why they purposely limit the articulation on these. If they all had elbows and knees I'd probably buy most of them. But as is, they are all passes.

Why articulation are limited?
2 reasons.
First, it make transformations easier.
Second, il lower the parts count by a lot, thus reducing the price of the toys by a significant margin.
Also, this line is not meant for collectors, but for fun and quick play. This is the main point of the line. Going WOOOOSH and BAMBAMBAM, then transforming in 3 seconds for more WOOOOOSH and more BANGBAMGVANG.
That's it.

So they get to make these again in Studio Series in a few years. Hasbro always have a way to bleed your wallet dry if they didn't get you the first time.
Seriously, EarthSpark's warriors weren't bad to begin with, yet Hasbro followed up w/ Deluxes for many of them, and they were great figures. So we might have a chance to get these designs in Generations.

I know people are mostly thinking "black Optimus", but I really hope it's a big blue and white ship. G1 Scourge already looks the part of a pirate captain and has the name to match.

Transformers Cyberworld is upon us! The toys have started coming out, with a sighting of Scorponok from the UK. And now we have official images of the wave 2 figures. These Cyber Changers are 4 inch figures that have less articulation than a deluxe figure but are priced at $11.99 USD. Those that come with an extra armor/weapon, like Offroad Optimus and Chop Shop, are 15.99. These have an August rekease date on entertainment earth, which is also the source of the images.
This series blends a lot of aspects from all over. Bumblebee sport his Prime headsculpt and Reactivate alt mode while Elita 1 is based on IDW Riptide and Chop Shop is based on Beast Wars Insecticon.

Anyone else seeing this?

Probably just me, but I feel like there's some retooling potential.
