An in-stock pre-order just means they're expecting to get X in, and they currently have less than X pre-ordered.
Yeah, I got excited about a few, two Universe Ultras for just over $20, a Voyager for under $10, then the shipping came to over $70. Suddenly not nearly so exciting.

I knew those prices were too good to be true. I was about to order Animated Ultra Magnus, but with shipping it would probably be $40+ anyway.

Animated Voyager Optimus Prime, Voyager Starscream, Voyager Shockwave and Leader Bulkhead.
All for $73.76. Pretty decent deal.
The $77.00 postage was pretty outrageous, but I am still saving a bucket load. $150 USD or 190 AUD total.
Considering if I had bought them at RRP in Australia, my haul would have cost $390 AUD. Haven't bought any tf'ers since march, so I can justify this purchase.
If it was free postage, holy hell, watch out!

Ordered a bunch of bits that either havn't been out at UK retail or that I've missed. Shipping has indeed come to more than they're asking for the toys, so on that basis I won't be using them again except for future sale items. On balance though 125GBP for 4 voyagers, 2 deluxes and 12 legends that I can't easily get hold of here in the UK isn't terrible and there are some figures among those that I've wanted for quite a while. BBTS will remain my first port of call for online shopping though.

Put what I wanted in the basket and it came to $49.92. For 6 items that wasn't bad. Went to the checkout. They added $85.42 for shipping for a grand total of $135.34. No chance.

Man. I had my sights set on a few figures I've been looking for too, but once again the shipping costs are prohibitive. It's ALMOST worth it to buy 1 figure, but I might as well save myself the trouble and a few bucks and get it in store.

Bah, I caved. Animated Skywarp and Special Edition Megatron cost me just over $50 Canadian, so that's like retail prices without taxes. Still savings, and considering we never saw Skywarp at retail around here, I'll take what I can get...now I just need Wreck-Gar for a decent price and I'm done Animated...for now.
