Maybe could have gotten a better angle on him, but that still looks pretty great! I definitely want to pick him up when he comes out.

Transformers RID Combiner Force Activator Combiners Bumblebee and Stuntwing
Bumblebee is about to bring in another Decepticon. Oh no, the Decepticons take off into the sky. But wait, it's Stuntwing teaming up with Bumblebee, they're right on their tails! They're flying!
Kids can combine forces and activate awesome pop-out battle modes with Transformers: Robots in Disguise Activator Combiner figures. This Activator Combiner 2-pack features one Bumblebee figure and one Stuntwing figure. Attach Stuntwing to Bumblebee to activate flight mode. Combine and activate!
The Bumblebee figure converts from robot to sports car in 4 steps; Stuntwing figure converts in 1. Activator figures work with other Activator Combiner figures (each sold separately). Scan the shields on these figures to unlock Bumblebee and Stuntwing characters in the mobile app.
Combine forces and join the battle with these figures based on the Transformers: Robots in Disguise animated series.

Transformers RID Combiner Force Activator Combiners Strongarm and Trickout
It's a high speed chase. The Decepticons brake right, leaving Strongarm in the dust. But wait, it's Trickout teaming up with Strongarm they're in pursuit again! With Trickout, Strongarm becomes supercharged!

Just what is Crash Combiner Optimus Prime supposed to be in vehicle mode?
Bumblebee looks... naked in both Classes, no black stripes. Activator Strongarm actually seems pretty cool with her gimmick, kinda the reverse of Cybertron Dirt Boss.

We're not gonna talk about that Optimus. that is the worst truck mode we have gotten yet from him, and that is saying something considering some of the other efforts

Normally I try to be polite and contain myself but these look terrible. They look like happy meal toys.

So a dump truck with a hole in the engine?
I know some people don't like Prime as a long nose but jeez you don't need to cut a hole out of him.
In this day and age they look better then happy meal toys which are atrocious these days.

I honestly think it is the result of Hasbro trying to do too many things at once. They should have just stuck to combiner wars and kept RiD separate. It seems this could be a very fun concept but the proportions look really ugly.
Also I think the "cheap" happy meal toy feeling comes from the colors looking like they are under-painted. Bumblebee looks especially solid yellow in robot mode. I don't know about you, but for me I love when a figure has lots of colors and details.
I will say that Stuntwing and Trickout look really nice. Though I think their size and cuteness are winning them some points. I also think Strongarm has some great paint apps. Why can't the rest of them be painted that much? *grumbles*

Ok, I retract my question then. But it's still pretty bad form if it's like that in package.

Stuntwing and Trickout look moderately interesting, but the "expanding" gimmick looks dumb.
When Energon did the shirt/pants combiners they looked decent, these just look awful.
Looks like a hard pass on this sub-line.

There is a huge difference between these and the energon toys: The energon toys were the mainline toys. The energon line was made for everyone, kids and collectors. You didnt like the gimick, tough!
But this is whats replacing the one steps for the kids. I dont know why any of us care so much that they arent to our liking. The minaline toys are still around, we are getting super sweet new warriors and those who like seeker repaints are getting them too. These are just the next thing to get for people who liked the one steps.

Those of us who have been around a while know that some of these are meant for the younger crowd. But deep down we're also thinking, 'The crumb-crunchers and yard apes have the Rescue Bots - why can't we have everything else?'
And I admit, these 'combiner force' things don't do anything for me based on looks alone. How does sideswipe feel about being Bumblebee's PANTS? These don't look any better than the 'Power Core Combiner' line...

So, Soundwave. He looks great! Remember when Starscream was revealed we all chipped in on what he drew influence from? I think they did that again here. Soundwave has: TFP Soundwave's head, WFC/FOC Soundwave's robot mode, Animated Soundwave's alt-mode, and G1 Soundwave's colors. Anyone see anything else?

Please people If you are going to quote other people just to make a joke or make a reply to images for crying out loud please delete the images that are not relevant to your reply. The previous page is the same images over and over and over and it looks so messy and any comments get lost in the sea of images.
To make that gag all that was needed was the final picture. or indeed for me to comment that Optimus now has lady parts.
