Hasbro's excited to announce that Transformers fans attending BotCon 2009 in Pasadena, California, later this month (May 28-31) will have the opportunity to be some of the first fans anywhere to buy all-new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie toys! Starting on Thursday, May 28, attendees can purchase the new movie toys at the Transformers Collectors' Club store at BotCon. (Note: While supplies last!) This special inventory of product will feature an official "First Buy" gold foil sticker, adding to their collectability!
Hasbro and BotCon are thrilled to offer attending fans this opportunity and hope to see everyone in Pasadena in just a few short week! Please visit http://www.botcon.com for more information.

OK, let's see. They're going to be available at Botcon, they're already available at some stores throughout North America...
At what point will Hasbro decide to do away with the May 30th street date?

Only thing I want from ROTF is the Superion set, and I hope it's there.

only some stores broke the street date. Targets are selling the robot heroes under the galactic heroes DCPI from the universe line.
I found this about a month ago on my cell, targets website they use for mobile phones is different from there standard phone.
the movie stuff has been listed on the over a month and u can check stores for products, if u check the TRA MOVIE2 ROBOT HEROES it comes up as not in stock, but i bought them yesterday and 4 different targets had them out, they were just put over the universe robot heroes.
we no Walmarts have the figures in the back, but i don't think u will see a mass release, unless they use the 15th as the date with the preview figures.

I thought the same thing, but the "gold sticker" thing is new at least.
I'm glad they are being sold at the club store and not just released at retail like last year (when the dealers arrived early and did some heavy mark-ups)
But coupled with the souveneirs that club store line could be absolutely brutal this year.
