Team MechaCon is proud to announce that Scott McNeil will be a guest at MechaCon
2.0 this August!
Scott is a fan favorite as he has provided some of the best known voices from
Anime and Transformers. His voluminous credits include Duo Maxwell from Gundam
Wing; Koga from InuYasha; Rattrap, Silverbolt, Dinobot, Dinobot II and
Waspinator from Transformers: Beast Wars; Jetfire from Transformers: Armada and
Transformers: Energon; Snarl and Backstop in Transformers: Cybertron; and
Wolverine from X-Men: Evolution.
From heroes to villians and everthing that growls or snarls in between, Scott
has voiced it. You can read more about his incredible career in television and
film on our Guest Page:

Join us August 11-13, 2006 at MechaCon and welcome Scott McNeil to Cajun
Country!

LIMITED GOLDPASS PRE-REGISTRATIONS GOING FAST!
If you intend to purchase a GoldPass for MechaCon 2.0, now is the time to do so,
as our limited number of available GoldPasses is rapidly dwindling. At the time
of this e-mail, there are only 33 GoldPasses remaining for purchase. Once these
last 33 GoldPasses are gone, they’re gone… and GoldPasses will no longer be
available for MechaCon 2.0.
So, get ‘em while they’re hot!

Also! Don't forget about our Opening Ceremonies & Formal/Semi-formal Dinner
Lucky Draw!
Five lucky dinner attendees will be drawn at random for an opportunity to be
seated with our special guests for the MechaCon Opening Ceremonies &
Formal/Semi-formal Dinner on Friday night. You must have a Opening Ceremonies &
Formal/Semi-formal Dinner reservation to be eligible for the Lucky Draw.

HOTEL LUCKY-DRAW INCENTIVE AND RESERVATIONS
All hotel reservations made at the Hilton Lafayette before May 1st, 2006 will be
entered into our hotel lucky-draw. One reservation, chosen at random during our
Opening Ceremonies, will have their hotel accommodations for the convention
weekend paid by Sennin Productions, LLC and MechaCon (room and tax only,
incidentals do not apply). Only reservations made within the MechaCon hotel
block are eligible.
For those who plan to get a room at the Hilton Lafayette, please make your
reservation through our Accommodations page so we can be credited for your
rooms.

The direct link to the online reservations desk for the MechaCon block is
http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/groups/private_groups/lftlhhf_mec/index.jhtml
I cannot stress enough how extremely vital making your reservations through the
online portal is to the future of MechaCon.
http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/groups/private_groups/lftlhhf_mec/index.jhtml
Also, if you reserve your room by phone, be sure to ask to be put in the
"MechaCon Room Block", otherwise, we won't get credit for your reservation. If
you've already reserved a room, call the Hilton to double-check that your
reservation is in the MechaCon Room Block. If not, please ask to have it moved
there. If they say they can't move it (which they should be able to), just tell
them you want to cancel your current reservation and re-do your reservation in
the MechaCon block. There is absolutely no cost to do this!
We need your reservation in the MechaCon Room Block, so please make it through
there. For every room night booked at the Hilton in the MechaCon block, the con
gets a few dollars knocked off the rental space... dollars that will go toward
the budget for **MechaCon 3.0**!
