The first issue of the new Robots in Disguise ongoing written by Georgia Ball with art by Priscilla Tramontano hits next week, and will focus on stories related to, but ultimately outside of the events of the TV show itself. Arcee, Bulkhead, and Ultra Magnus from Transformers: Prime will make appearances in the comic, helping to bridge the continuity gap between the two series.

In The Transformers ongoing book, not much was hinted at, other than to keep an eye out for very big things from the forthcoming issue number 50.

Of course, there was plenty of mention of the very popular James Roberts penned More Than Meets The Eye, and while Twincast Podcast listeners have known for some time, it was confirmed that Grimlock will soon make an appearance. Also teased: the rise of the Decepticon Justice Division, and their war against Megatron.

On the Windblade front, most of that news was reported yesterday, but there was additional teasing about what might happen when Beast Transformers live right next to some from Velocitron.

There was news outside of the Transformers universe as well. In 2016, new comic series will launch for both the Micronauts and Rom The Space Knight, who you may remember as almost being a Transformer at one point!

IDW's GI Joe series will also have a big event starting in October, being called Cobra World Order. Written by Larry Hama with art by S.I. Gallant, this event kicks off in G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero issues #219 and #220.
Two BIG announcements were also made for Transformers fans, the first being called Transformers Redemption, written by John Barber with art from Livio Ramondelli, which is a sequel to last year's Combiner Wars prequel, Transformers Punishment. This will similarly be a one-shot, 40 page book, featuring the Dinobots moving out to the Rust Sea in a desperate bid to repopulate Cybertron. It will feature some new characters as well, including a glimpse or two of Victorion.

Finally, the news many Transformers comics fans have been waiting for ages to hear was finally heard: a new series written and drawn by Nick Roche, featuring colors from Josh Burcham, and starring the one and only Wreckers! Sins of the Wreckers will be a five-issue miniseries, with the first issue arriving on November 6th, 2015, and is said to have major repercussions on all the major stories as we approach next March's 50 issue milestones. The cover for the first issue (both in color and black and white) is below, as posted by Nick Roche himself on his Twitter account:
