It practically came all at once, Targets updated their Buzzworthy Bumblebee selection on shelves with many new offerings. The Creatures Collide multipack was found first (for $73.99) soon followed by toy deco Beast Wars Dinobot and toy deco Terrorsaur. All are in solid case packs, meaning there is no other/different toy in the cases they come in. And for those worried about theivery with the closed box set, there are holes at the top that let you peer in to see if there is something missing. The DPCI for the Creatures Collide set is 087-16-0184 but that is also the DCPI or a Star Wars Porg set. The UPC is 5010994154356.

Below are images of the multiple sightings coming from TF fans ahchu, Slingshot and Hye6640 who posted their findings on the TFW2005 message baords. California has been the main place for sightings but they have been found elsewhere as well, like Ohio. These being Target exclusives means that Target is getting almost all the stock destined for US fans, so these are bound to show up at your local Targets.

Then those will be available at our local Canadian Toys rUs for one zillion dollars each.

Bah - the Creatures Collide set still isn't showing up on the Target website database. Until then I can't get the UPC number for looking it up. Which means that you can't call Target up to have them confirm if they've got it or not. The dead-head clerks who work in these stores are utterly clueless without those numbers, it's like talking to a brick wall. 'T... oys? Uh... I don't know if we sell these "t... oys" of which you speak. Let me get ahold of my manager....'

According to Brickseek that's for a Porg 2-k from Star Wars.

Toy Dinobot looks really good when pictures are not overexposed. Love the Heroic Maximal / Evil Predacon prefixes for the toy decos, that's one of the parts of the packaging I remember the most from the original Beast Wars toys.

It made sense for the time. If kids didn't know anything about Beast Wars, they will know who the "good guys" and "bad guys" are.

Guess I know which figures I'll be examining next! I admit I was surprised. For the Creatures Collide set, Target charged about $74. After taxes, that equates to a little over $19.50 per figure. And since the box contains four deluxe figures, that's not bad for the cost. Especially considering that the average price for a Deluxe figure sold by itself these days is about $23 each.

I was fully expecting this set to cost at least $100, probably more. Nice.

Checked my target tonight, not a single new thing.

If that Creatures Collide pack is that price, that is a nice package deal. I need that set.

I was standing in my local Target when this news first hit the Seibertron.com main page, and not only was there no sign of any new Buzzworthy Bumblebee toy other than plenty of leftover Silverstreaks, there wasn't even a spot for any of the new stuff. No places on the shelves set aside for the Creatures Collide set, the Red Cog set, or the toy-colored Dinobot and Terrorsaur. Just a whole lotta old stuff plus the giant RC Optimus thing.

Yeah, my Target also had no space for either the set or Metroplex. The release date is the 31st so that could change. I finally did see Cliffjumper show up, and he looks pretty good in hand. I have ER Cliffy, but I might just swap them out in my collection and put ER up for sale. Maybe it's just the packaging, but BB Cliffy looks a bit lighter shade of red than ER Cliffy does.

Ok thanks. I thought maybe it was the lighting in the store. BB Cliff looks better, and I don't even care about the painted window.

I'll probably go back and watch it. I was never a big Cliffjumper fan, so when I saw the ER figure at the store I just bought it to round out my G1 collection. I didn't pay much attention to the Buzzworthy version, but I got it in hand at the store last night and the differences were noticeable. BB Cliffy just looks better.

In my area he's far and away the rarest of the bunch. I'd get him just for that (if I didn't already have him).

I found the Creatures Collide set at Target yesterday. The price of $75 is quite nice for 4 deluxe class figures. Goldbug is definitely the highlight. I’m so happy to have a proper modern Goldbug figure at last! Ransack is pretty nice too, even if only the head was changed from Kickback. The deco makes it work. Skywasp is a nice Waspinator repaint. I gave him the robot head to differentiate him from BotCon Parasite. I might sell off toy colors Scorponok, though. Between the show accurate Kingdom release and the recent vintage re-release, I just don’t have much use for him, unless I can repurpose him as another character.

By the way, if anyone has no use for their extra Ransack heads, the ones that are just Kickback’s head in toy accurate colors, I’d be interested in taking them. I have three extra Legacy Kickbacks, and my plan is to swap out their heads to army build a clone swarm for Kickback. Proper Kickback will retain the normal head while his clones will use the toy colored alternate Ransack heads from this set.

So I already have Terrorsaur from the Kingdom Amazon golden disc set, so I'm really tempted to keep the toy accurate Buzzworthy version like this on my shelves because of the simple stupid hilariousness of it all.

If you haven't found the 4 pk yet, don't give up hope...
My Target had 6 sets yesterday.
Those, as well as multiples of Terrorsaur and Dinobot.
So these were available even though there is no shelf space or tags for Motormaster or Metroplex.

And as others have said, $76-ish is an incredibly great price for 4 deluxe figures.

The problem is being able to check if their in stock, can't get the UPC to work on popfinder or Brickseek, and Targets are too far away to just stop in on a whim.

Secured the 4-pack thanks to a buddy. The set is pretty neat, and a good price too.

Goldbug is a pretty gold. First time with the VW version of the mold. I wish there was a tab on the roof of the car for the weapons, but it's fine, first time I've used the weapons in ski configuration in the car mode of any version of this mold.

Ransack is OK. I like the robot mode, and the wings are cool, but the transformation and bug mode are very bland, so bland they might as well not be there. FOC did Kickback better still. But as Ransack, he is neat enough. I use the Kickback head for him.

Skywasp is really cool, especially with the colors. I use the bug head for him right now.

Scorponok is also pretty neat. I like his colors a good bit. I think this will be my Maximal Rhinox-buddy Scorponok from the IDW comics. I use the mutant head for him.

I found the 4-pack in my Target today, but I didn't get it. I really only want Goldbug and maybe Ransack, and Scorponok might be a long shot. The other figure means nothing to me. It might be a good chance I can sell them on eBay and make my money back.

Goldbug looked actually yellow, much brighter than Netflix Bee. If I do get the set, I'm switching Goldie's and Bee's heads.

If I find the pack, that's what I'll do as well. I'll also keep the Scorponok with his "toy head" (no more monkey-face) and sell off all the rest on eBay.

I should be getting my four-pack in the next couple days. I'm really excited for it, just like I was for the last one, even though there are only two guys that I really want, again. This means I'll have four extra beasties, but too many toys is a better problem than its opposite.

Thanks for the link! Ordered immediately to secure I get one plus I had a $20 gift card so it worked out great as I only want Goldbug.

I'll probably pass on the head swap I don't want to chance any breakage on such a high priced item.

Picked up the creature set along with Cliffjumper. I hope swapping the heads on Bee and Bug won't be difficult. I also have a Generations Bee from the WFC game, which has a nice yellow G1 head. I might swap that. Anyone interested in only Goldbug's blue head, let me know. I mainly wanted the yellow body.

If I can't get an entire Goldbug, I'd slap the head on a Bumblebee.

The video game 'Bee head is going to be ridiculously big. The colors, once you see it in hand, will probably make you think twice about doing that.

Yeah I had that Bee in my hand yesterday and I realized I forgot how much larger deluxes were 10 years ago. He's almost a voyager now. So I'll have to figure out something else. I get a little crazy about customizing.

The downside to the boxes having those little holes in the top: The head came off my Scorponok in shipping and was bouncing around in the shipping box. There's nothing stopping them from falling out before they hit the shelf either. Scorpy's head in particular takes little effort to slide off. Also there was a big cut going through the tissue paper used to hold all the accessories and the flat part to Goldbug's gun fell out of the box when I opened it. And yes, this was an unopened box from Target.com.

In store. My Target had 3. Along with 6 naked Dinobots and all-6-gone Terrorsaurs.
