Nearly 25% off an unreleased preorder? That's a little too good to be true isn't it? And reviews I've seen for the site are mostly negative. https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/deepdiscount.com

I could literally take all those complaints and replace Deep Discount with Walmart or Target who have canceled more than a dozen of my pre-orders over the past two years, it's just a chance we take when we place a pre-order anywhere, especially now as we're still working through pandemic related delays and shortages.

Yes they charge as soon as you order. I can understand why some people have had issues. I personally never have, although I've only pre ordered Blu Ray and DVD a couple months in advance with DD. Import toys are more likely to cancel if sufficient stock cannot be obtained.

I went ahead and bit the bullet. I pre-ordered from deepdiscount Skyfire. It's been many years but had pre-ordered a monsterarts godzilla figure and had no issues. Buying Preoders from Japan and paying up front is no big deal. Just use a credit card not PayPal. If things go south you do a charge back since the bank looks at when the item is released not actual date of charge. Also found a 10% coupon online 'plunge' without quotes. If doesn't pan out can do a charge back and should be readily available from others on release. Should follow this post at time of release to see what the experience was next year.

Actually, I used google and checked their site, they don't charge until the pre-order ships. I really hope that's true as I PO both and that's a massive hit to a credit card at once.
Also, I've used Deep Discount before. The only problem I had with them is that they're slow to update their site. I ordered a bunch of stuff on sale only to get an email after placing the order that several of the items were canceled because they were out of stock. Apparently, that happens a lot with them.

Skyfire is a Takara Mall exclusive and won't be up on Amazon Japan. No idea where train bot 3 is but the new Sentai and Shinkalion toys are very tempting.

Yukikaze is just slow getting on there but Skyfire is a Takara Tomy Mall exclusive for some unknown reason, he wont be showing up on Amazon Japan.
I should point out that Deep Discount does charge at order for PayPal payments, not for cards but they will do a charge hold. I have a bunch of stuff pre-ordered with them right now, but none of it is anything I have to worry over missing out on if they end up canceling. They sent me Legacy Arcee the other day, but still waiting on Drag Strip and Kickback. If they cancel Skyfire and Yukikaze on me I think they'll still be readily available elsewhere.

I was just looking over the reviews for Deepdiscount because they have a MOTU origins Stridor for $11. To start with, that price seems way too low for a new-ish item. But after seeing so many negative reviews I decided not to take the chance. The main reason is because of all the reviews that say:
1. They list items as IN STOCK but they really are not in stock.
2. Their customer service is horrible. They are rude & hateful & will constantly lie to get out of giving you a refund.
I thought I'd be safe using Paypal but I saw people mention problems even with Paypal. They can ship you the wrong item & Paypal will assume everything is ok. Then you have to fight it out for months. If the item is actually out of stock, they won't let you know & will take forever to issue a refund.
Everything might go great but I'm just not going to take the chance. I can handle 1 or 2 bad reviews but this site has mostly negative reviews across a lot of different sites like Sitejabber, Yelp, Trustpilot & Resellerratings. It's just not worth saving a few bucks if I have to go through a huge ridiculous hassle.

Same here, as you and Kev. It does seem odd that some people had same day movement but for others of us, they are backed up to the point of going over a calendar week for it to move. Not shocked just disappointed. I understand that they were probably swamped with orders but at this point, it should be an expected variable and not a shipping anomaly.

Quick update with my recent Deep Discount experiences, they've just shipped out my pre-orders for Legacy Kickback and SS Bee movie Arcee, on top of delivering Legacy Arcee last week. So far so good. A little slow shipping stuff out, but even Amazon can't seem to decide what's ready to ship and what isn't. Just waiting for SS Ironhide and Legacy Drag Strip to show up and I have no reason to think they wont.

Pulse order finally shipped today after I messaged them and told them to cancel my order since it was taking so long lol. Guess they just needed a gentle push so to speak. 12 days is what it took for in stock items to ship. Yikes!

Well, bad news.
Pulse shipped my ThreeZero Prime, but Fedex lost it as soon as they got it. And it sold out, so I could not get a replacement. Full refund. I am very upset.
I also placed a 2nd order last sunday, and it still hasn't shipped yet either. Got an email this afternoon telling me it was going to be delayed in shipping that order. Really annoyed at how long it is taking and that they needed to email about it

I got the delay email on my second order today as well. At least it is just Coronation screamer and an extra sweep, so they can take their time.
