I'm looking forward Bludgeon. Hope he'll look nice and bad-ass.
High chances I'll be getting him.

Bludgeon I think would be interesting to see. Tarn once again getting a non-mainline, non-transforming figure... :(

Bludgeon is going to be a must! He's the first Ultimates that could potentially fit with WFC figures. And considering all the stuff the Action Masters came with he could possibly come with his little inner robot form with limited articulation.

Stupid question, do the action master partners transform at all?

I don't think Needler does, but Razor-Sharp maybe. The originals' transformation wasn't much really, just an extension swinging out and the gun attached for the first wave including Banzai-tron, and swing out the head as a helmet for the EU wave including Bombshell.

I might pick one up since I am kinda interested. The picks we got to see so far are a bit disappointing though.
The Ultimates line in general seems to be kinda inkonsistent?
The MOTU stuff kinda look like the original Matty Collector Classics, the Thundercats seem to be in the same style.
The Conan ones look like they're trying to be realistic, but have weird muscles. The TMNT look like giant versions of the original toys just made more ugly.

Really pleased to see these lineup choices. A couple of them are a little boring, but that's ok if they're the hedges against bets like Tarn. Bludgeon and dino Grimlock being in a wave gives me late Marvel G1 vibes and I'm here for that. Ultimates seem like a fantastic place to do Pretender shells.

I hope Tracks is also an Action Master, but given Banzaitron and Bombshell have that specifically called out and he doesn't it seems highly unlikely.

For the TMNT line, they could only recreate the toy aesthetic since NECA has the rights to the animation look. As you said, some of those figures look ugly.

What is with Hasbro authorizing these non-transforming Tarns????!

Do they want 3rd party to continue eating their lunch? The irony is sick considering this was a character in comics who constantly ran through transformation cogs. And then there's the price for this line..... If some of you love it, fine, enjoy!

To me it feels like HasTak is painting themselves in the corner by releasing the same G1 characters from Seasons 1-3 over and over again, while I can name a good thirty characters that haven't seen any CHUG love in the past 15 years except for maybe that overpriced BotCon mess.

Other than that BW movie what else does Hasbro have in store fore retail two years from now? I mean other than 20 more OP's Bee's, Megatron's and Starcreams...

If rumours are correct, possibly UT based figures, which will please a lot of people.

From the description:

Banzai-Tron comes with his Action Master partner Razor-Sharp, and his Photon Neutralizer that combine to form his massive Semi-Automatic Gun!

They don't mention Needler being able to connect to Bombshell, but it does have a peg on the underside and Bombshell has a peg hole on his back that Banzaitron doesn't have, pluss Needler seems to be segmented in the right spot. I'll be surprised if it can't connect.

Ended up pre-ordering Banzaitron, these don't come out until sometime between December and February 2022 so I've got time to save even if I think they're a bit over priced.

Wave 2 images and pre-orders are live:

I ordered Bludgeon, but Megatron is nice for those who don't have MP or RED figures, or the WfC accessories set.

Wow bludgeons farily niice, hopefully a third party will do a tansforming tank little guy for him. Kinda wrong that their Wheelie is better than Hasbros. Grimlock looks adorable and has teeth.

bludgeon looks to be the only must from the wave for me, fingers crossed they can do a deathshead or hasbro steps up to do one at some point.

Thanks to a heads-up by fellow Seibertron user AcademyofDrX, we now know that not only wave 2 of the Super 7 Transformers Ultimate are revealed, but the preorders are open at the Super 7 store.

Here's a what's in that wave:

Bludgeon:

Master of the Cybertronian martial art of Metallikato, Bludgeon is a highly skilled, ferocious Decepticon warrior. If you’re not familiar with Bludgeon, he’s a leader of the Mayhem Attack Squad, which should give you some insight into his character. This highly-articulated Transformers ULTIMATES! figure of Bludgeon is inspired by the vintage toy and comics, standing 8.5” in his helmet and featuring interchangeable heads and hands along with an assortment of hand-to-hand combat weapons ready to mete out punishment upon any Autobots that cross him. There’s also a comic-inspired wire bundle that plugs into the bottom of Bludgeon’s head, as if it has been ripped off! You’re not seriously going to pass on the opportunity to add a martial arts Transformer to your ULTIMATES collection, are you?

Accessories:

2 interchangeable heads
Toy-inspired head
Comic-inspired head
6 interchangeable hands
Head wire bundle (comic-inspired)
Katana & sheath
Wakizashi & sheath
Tank blaster
Ion blaster (toy-inspired)
Turret shield (toy-inspired)

Grimlock (Dino):

“Me Grimlock!” One of the most powerful and feared of all Autobots, the only challenge beyond Grimlock’s capabilities is basic pronoun usage, but grammatical shortcomings aside, the Dinobot leader can go toe-to-toe with even the mightiest of Decepticon foes on the battlefield. This 9” highly-articulated Transformers ULTIMATES! figure of Grimlock in Dino Mode features G1 accurate paint deco and an arsenal of accessories that even include his time as a waiter. One more note we saved for the end, you’ll also get Autobot Wheelie, his friend! He can ride on Grimlock’s back, ready to go on the attack! Action, not diplomacy, is Grimlock’s forte, so in his spirit, just add this mighty warrior to your Transformers collection!

Accessories:

6x interchangeable hands
Mind-transfer helmet
Soft goods waiter apron
Serving tray
6x drinkware
Fish
King Crown
Wheelie

Megatron:

“Peace through Tyranny!” Megatron is the big bad of the Transformers universe for a reason. Actually, many, many reasons. Tremendous strength, military acumen, and ruthless aggression meant to inspire terror are just a few of his “finer” qualities. This 8” highly-articulated Transformers ULTIMATES! figure of Megatron features G1 accurate paint deco and interchangeable heads and hands. With an arsenal of other accessories, this figure is every bit as well equipped as you’d expect the leader of the fearsome Decepticons to be. Adding this Megatron ULTIMATES! figure to your collection is as inevitable as the fear he instills in his foes!

Accessories:

3x interchangeable heads
Regular head
Power-hungry head
Head with mind control helmet
6x interchangeable hands
Hand holding Energon cube
Anti-matter chest
Kremzeek
Chemical flask
Laser sword
Blaster
Pearl of Bahoudin
2x energy mace

Tracks:

Tracks is totally awesome! Just ask him, he’ll tell you! Considering that his non-robot transformations are a sports car AND a jet plane, it’s kinda hard to argue with him. The Transformers ULTIMATES! figure of Tracks features G1 accurate paint deco and interchangeable heads and hands, measuring in at 7.5” in height when fully equipped with his wings and missiles. With an arsenal of weapons and other accessories inspired by both the cartoon and the vintage toy, this Autobot diva is equipped to the nines! Love to hate him or hate to love him, either way, he’s a key member of the Autobots- and seeing that he once risked his life defending San Francisco, he’s near and dear to Super7’s heart.

Accessories:

2 x interchangeable heads
Regular head
Evil Alien Robot Head
6x interchangeable hands
Tank (vintage toy inspired)
Ion blaster (vintage toy inspired)
Ion blaster (cartoon inspired)
Blaster boombox

Definitely getting Bludgeon and Grimlock. Grimlock will be going with post-movie figures (SS86 Grimlock is pre-movie for me) since he's pretty big at 9" tall. Bludgeon's 8.5" is about as tall as MP Starscream to the top of his head so I might stick him (and Banzaitron) with MPs. Megatron and Tracks I have no use for, though I might get Megatron if he's on sale.

If some 3P smart-ass make a mini-tank Bludgeon compatible with that turret accessory, we will basically have a MP Bludgeon! One more reason to get him. :APPLAUSE:

That Bludgeon's gonna be great to own, even if he's not quite easy to put in a CHUG display.

That figure is 9" tall. So unless Bludgeon was a freaking GIANT, he'll be right at home in the current Masterpiece display. So in a CHUG display, he may be way too big.
