I think it homages the box for the original G1 Tigertrack exclusive figure in some way. Somebody else here can probably explain it better though. But this one is definitely monochrome sadly.

The original Tigertrack was a mail-away for Figure King magazine, and came in a single-color box like most figures of that nature.

Yes, the box was a white background with yellow/orange artwork, correct?
Other G1 Mailaways like Ratchet and the Omnibots were done the same way (with a different color of course).
