i remember that game being hard almost too hard to play

I remember reading or seeing something on Japanese games and how the parents in Japan, and the society in general were worried about video games making kids stupid so the companies made the games very hard so the kids had to think really hard to win. That might have something to do with Role Playing games being very popular over there.

Why just this game? Why not the few other The Transformers games that everyone has forgotten about. It'll be nice for those 20 year old games to have some kind of modern release.

I wish you could play as Ultra Magnus or the hidden Rodimus Prime rather than a malformed movie prime

I downloaded this game on Google Play this evening.

You know, I didn't think it was possible, but it may actually be MORE difficult than the Famicom original. There is an incredibly steep learning curve right from the very beginning. The first two games I played, I wound up dying in under two seconds. My highest score thus far is NINE seconds.

It's not a bad game, by any means. Just shockingly difficult in comparison to other mobile games like Cookie Run.

Funny note. I originally wanted to snag this for my iPhone, but it wasn't showing up in the App Store. A statement from TakaraTomy said that they'd submitted the game to Apple, but it was rejected because Apple thought the game was a fake. TakaraTomy was trying to get everything sorted out and hoped that it would be available soon.
