TFExpo wrote:Big TFExpo 2014 Update!
Several exciting announcements to make for TFExpo 2014!
We're partnering with Headshots Bar and Grill to bring our attendees the FIRST EVER TFExpo Video Game Lounge! This will take place right in the Dealer Room, and is FREE for TFExpo attendees to participate in. We'll be playing Transformers video games, and there will be a tournament with PRIZE GIVEAWAYS! The lounge will be available for use throughout the convention, so check it out.
TFExpo is also proud to bring you our first ever Customs Workshop, courtesy of our guest designer, Javaco. Javaco will be bringing special UPGRADE SETS for our attendees to purchase at the show. Bring along your Generations Blitzwing or Doubledealer to lord over your villainous 'bots in the upgraded form of OPPRESSOR. Available in two different versions, G1 and "Lips" heads, and also includes a new gun! Also available will be "Imitator", upgrading your Universe Inferno into a certain fire-themed 'bot who dreams of one day being a hero. Imitator is available in standard and battle-damaged versions, with head-only and full conversion kits available, which include a new chestplate and shoulder-mounted launcher, as well as an iconic rifle. Javaco's Workshop is FREE for our attendees to use, with paint, brushes and other supplies available at no charge. Just buy the kit you want and get started! Saturday only!
Saturday Night, our Ultra and Premium attendees will enjoy the Saturday Night Dinner and Script Reading Event. Our story this year is the fan-submitted script "The Lost King", starring Sumalee Montano as Arcee and Neil Ross as Slag and Springer! We'll be casting attendees in the roles of Starscream, Blurr, Chromia, Eradicon, and the Narrator, so if you think you've got what it takes to make your voice heard alongside the pros, make sure you audition at the show. Saturday Night Dinner Tickets are available individually as well, but you MUST pre-register to attend. Registration ends THIS SUNDAY, so please don't wait!
With registration winding down, so does the TFExpo Special Rate at Holiday Inn. There are only a few rooms left at this rate, and the rate will go inactive Monday July 14th at the close of business. With MANY events happening in Wichita the weekend of TFExpo, hotel rooms are expected to sell out across the city. Do NOT wait to book your hotel!
For more information, or to register now, go to
