ThreeZero Reveals Gray Prototypes for DLX Scourge and Mirage

Thanks to a notice from Seibertronian PrimeisBoss, we have news that ThreeZero has started showing off the next couple of figures for their DLX line.

ThreeZero to date has been producing a great line of figures for a Masterpiece-esque price that are extremely nice replicas of the live action movie bots. These include Optimus Prime as he appeared in his Knight-style body, Optimus Prime and Jetfire when they combined in Revenge of the Fallen, Bumblebee movie figures such as Bee and Arcee, and recently they have started into the Rise of the Bests movie, putting Optimus Prime and Bumblebee up for preorder, and teasing an Optimus Primal.

Well, thanks to the HK-TF ???????? Facebook group, we have images of their next round of figures. Here we see the prototype of Primal once more, as well as another shot of Prime, but we also get to see their newest reveals: Scourge and Mirage! Scourge ended up being an appropriately menacing villain, while Mirage turned out to be the main character and the heart of the film. Of note, this is only Mirage's 4th figure period, and only the 2nd using his final movie design.

We do not know when these figures will be going up for preorder, or indeed when we can expect colored images, but check out the prototypes below, and let us know what you think!

Unless Unique Toys create a "MP" ROTB Mirage, the only way to have a figure with a truly accurate bot mode will be the 3-0.

ThreeZero has been doing a very good job with their recent MDLX line, creating new original designs for classic characters and giving us highly articulated toys of said designs. Well, they did a Megatron, and now they are taking that Megatron and painting him up like he looked in the 80's Marvel comics.

They recently showed off this new figure on their Website, showcasing his new paint work, which is a beauty to behold. He even includes that classic black helmet and yellow eyes.

This figure stands about 7 inches tall, and will be available in the 4th quarter of this year.

Check out the images below, and let us know what you think in the comments below!

threezero is proud to announce the release of MDLX Megatron (Comic Book Edition), a redesigned version of the iconic Decepticon Leader that features a distinctive color scheme exclusive to this Comic Book Edition. This edition pays homage to Megaton’s original appearance in the vintage 1980s comic book series!

MDLX is a series of articulated figures capturing the spirit of threezero’s renown DLX series at a smaller scale with a similar high-range of articulation and enhanced durability, all at a groundbreaking affordable price.

The Transformers MDLX line of figures are based on the original 1980s The Transformers cartoon and toy line, as redesigned by threezero Art Director Kelvin Sau. The iconic designs have been remixed to incorporate threezero’s hyper-detailed mechanical aesthetic, offering a familiar and exciting new presentation. Transformers MDLX figures feature threezero’s unique die-cast zinc alloy and engineer-grade plastic frame system, which retains the tactile playability and durability of the figure. Each figure is finished off with the detailed craftsmanship and weathered paint application that threezero is known for, bringing beloved Transformers characters to a new format for all to enjoy.

MDLX Megatron (Comic Book Edition) is approximately 7” (18 cm) tall, with approximately 45 points of articulation and a die-cast metal frame. Accessories include one Fusion Cannon, one Back Cannon, and four sets of interchangeable hands.

Thanks to ThreeZero, we have the full reveal of the next figure in their MDLX line of figures: Sideswipe!

The MDLX figure line has been running strong, starting with Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, and expanding to include Rodimus Prime, multiple types of Megatrons, Starscream, and now Sideswipe.

Sideswipe is a brand new take on the red car guy we all know and love, featuring a stylized design that makes him look really sleek, and including all of his signature weapons.

Sideswipe will be available for global order next week, with an estimated shipping date of Spring 2024. No price available yet, but we'd expect a price of approximately $90 to align with Rodimus Prime.

Check out the details below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

Appart the Unique Toys black magic, this is the only way to have a truly screen accurate ROTB Mirage.

So I just saw the review for Megatron which was pretty impressive! And after watching it I've made the choice to get upcoming G2 version. I will keep my Selects figure in tank mode and will enjoy the ThreeZero figure in robot mode....'nuff said!!! :VEHI:

I dunno if it's a mix of the pipe with the angle, but that Rodimus seems to have let himself go during the Holidays.
