Transformersasia have finally released a picture of the upcoming Asia exclusive THS-02B Black Convoy. As promised you can see the gold accents that adorn this black repaint. This guy is also sporting blue chest windows instead of the original red. The website lists a release date of 11-8-13. Check out the image below.

Teal replaced with gold.
Red eyes/windows replaced with blue eyes/windows.
Gray thighs replaced with silver thighs.

This thing is pretty purdy.

As someone who got the original Hybrid G1 Convoy and the black repaint I can highly recommend this figure. Yes at this scale parts are a bit fiddly and I was never able to transform either version without the wrist/arm guards coming off but it's fun.

Interestingly, these are the same colors used by Dark Guard Optimus.

Don't like the gold accents here, they are in odd places, the original black version looks better.

Yes, it's basically the joints, teal however looks better in those spots than gold chrome.

ive got ths-02b in near mint condition with all accessories, just no box. ill take $100 plus shipping for him.

Thanks to our friends at site sponsor TFsource we have a new in-hand image of the upcoming Asia Exclusive THS-02B Hybrid Style Black G1 Convoy. This version comes with several notable differences in deco: red eyes and windows are now blue, new gold accents on joints and legs. Check out the image below, this figure should be out this month.

If you ever wished that there was a masterpiece(ish) type figure that you could display in a small space then this is. I don't like these colours but the regular red and the previous black version are great......so long as you ignore the truck mode.
