We've been enjoying the Toy Fair reveals so far, and one of the most talked about figures by far is the new Leader Class Megatron (with his awesome flame thrower) from the upcoming Transformers 5 film. Well, our field correspondents Megatronus and Seibertron himself have shown us that the flamethrower piece actually serves a purpose in jet mode! Check it out below!

Also from the Transformers: The Last Knight roster of new reveals, we have a look at the one-step - or TURBO CHANGER as it's now known - three-headed Dragonstorm, who is totally not Transformers: Prime Predaking. I know I am looking to far into this but I have figured out three of the four Cyberglyphics found on Leader Megatron. If you flip the picture upside down and use the official Cyberglyphics alphabet you get ?.P.T.V. The first glyph is not on the chart but P.T.V. are. In old prime P stands for Warlord, T stands for Harvester, and V stands for Steadfast. Also I really love this figure. But I think Iam only going to get the voyager

Not really feeling it for the TR box sets. Having Fastlane without Cloudraker or Pounce without Wingspan seems to defeat the point, and if they're gonna bring over the Super Ginrai mold, wouldn't it make more sense to wait and pair it with Godbomber? And Quickswitch's color scheme... I dunno, maybe as I see more pictures it'll grow on me. Nautica and Tidal Wave are pretty sweet, and Metalhawk looks okay, but that's not enough to justify the price of the rest to me.

Speaking of Nautica, I was not expecting a Blurr retool. When's the last time a male Transformer's mold was recolored or remolded into a female character?

Ultra Bee, Menasor, and Galvatronus all look pretty cool for simplified figures. Ultra Bee especially, since it breaks from convention in a few ways, being a four-bot combiner made of three cars and a dinosaur. Would have preferred some of the 'con limbs were a bit more distinct from each other, but it's certainly not a dealbreaker.

Our next update from Toy Fair New York 2017 comes in the form of one giant gallery of high quality photos from the Hasbro Transformers display area, bringing us closer shots of the figures we have seen in the previews so far for The Last Knight, Robots in Disguise, and Titans Return, plus many unseen figures from the same lines, such as the Allspark Tech, the rest of the Autobot team, voice changer helmets, RID Thermidor, G2 Laser Prime, Tiny Turbo Changers (blindpacked one-steps), the Legion class figures, the Rescue Bots Optimus Prime Flip Racers track, and more Rescue Bots figures, plus some assorted merch!

I can't blame you about box sets. I am very picky with them because they do cost a lot of money. I have to like every figure in the box to have it be worth it so it can be hit or miss. Then again there is always ebay for single figures.
