One of the key 1984 characters is a 1 out of 96 chase figure. Another is 1 out of 48.

I'm not buying damn master cases and selling them. That's work. I really, really don't like this business model when the chase figures aren't things like the Sunstorms and variants of other characters like they were in the past. Not that I'm uber completionist on these, quite the contrary, I only get a handful of them on impulse and the characters that I like. Were they not blind boxed/chase figure BS land residents, then maybe that'd be different. They also cost too much.

Basically, this weekend I learned that the vinyl figure collecting thing which has overlapped with Transformers on these and Hikari or whatever is just not a scene I enjoy in the slightest.

Though, I will still buy that Wheeljack because it's cool.

I'll wait till I see one of these in person. I'm still not convinced they've fixed the ridiculous balls joints.

Is there a catch-all discussion thread for Loyal Subjects Transformers figures or is this the main one?

I caught a glimpse of these Loyal Subjects vinyl Transformers figures at the impressive Seattle Emerald City Comic Con Bluefin Distribution booth this weekend and it was love at first sight! They look great displayed alongside larger official Transformers toys. I can't wait to start collecting more of them!

I had no idea they carried Transformers. Usually when I go to their booth, I mostly see mecha from other franchises like Gundum

Via the official The Loyal Subjects website, we have a reveal of the upcoming San Diego Comic Con exclusive vinyl figure offered by the licensed company - and it's a double hit by the looks of it! Check out below the official image for Soundwave's cassette companion Buzzsaw, and a translucent edition of Frenzy in the same pack.

Don't miss Thursday at SDCC! We're bringing heat again! [...]

Following up with an uppercut! Les Schettkoe will be on hands signing at 1p. You guys were asking about Buzzsaw? We're bringing Buzzsaw! The yellow beak edition with his pal Frenzy (in translucent clear). BOOM! 2 pak explosion! Window box. Be there or be square!

Ah, so that's where Buzzsaw ended up. At least until they nerf future case assortments by randomly including them :P

The Loyal Subject have really upped their game since series one.

I randomly picked up a series two last week end (got Slag), and was really impressed with not only the new articulation but also the amount of accessories he came with.

Makes me want to track down a few more. I'm loving the look of the Lazerbeak/Buzzsaw mold.

Not surprising based on the grammar in the rest of their release, but this Scott Steiner math that they're running works out to Devastator being comprised of 4.5 robots. :-B

Titan Devastator is a slap in the face to those who wanted a decent Devastator so I guess we've come full circle.

How do you figure? This is just a dude with a license repainting some figures he's already got out in green anyway. Hasbro does nothing but put a rubber stamp on it, if even that. May have carte blanche outside of character selection for all we know.

I didn't mean to imply this was anything other than a coincidence. But think about it:

I have a general rule that I don't add Transformers to the collection that don't transform, but dammit, I love The Loyal Subjects. Looks like I'll have a couple new Devastators this year!
