hasbro are so stupid, they must know we are sick of getting Bumblebees and that we want different figures to be leader class and stuff, what is this? whats the point of this figure?

to be honest, fromthe pic, he ACTUALLY looks like the first movie bee i think is not bad... interesting colour scheme, and the right porpotions and articulation... i dont plan to pick it up ever, but so far this is the first one to have me, of all people, saying it looks aight.

I hope you both realise it's a repaint of the first DotM Bumblebee.

Jealous of Optimus Prime's paint job, Bumblebee got himself repainted to look just like him.

Griffin, site admin of the Australian fan site Ozformers, has posted scans from a DotM Guidebook and was given away as a freebie at a Melbourne TRU pre-launch event. This guidebook is also the source of the Deluxe Cyberfire Bumblebee image that appeared ealier. In additional to the aforementioned Bee, the book also reveals a previously unseen Cyberverse Optimus Prime figure. This version features two energon blades, shoulder cannons, and new deco. He also reports having already purchased DOTM Deluxe wave three. Not unusual since they often get figures at retail ahead us, but this does confirm the contents of wave three: Laserbeak, Mudflap, Nitro Bumblebee, and Thundercracker. Since wave one and two have already made appearances at our local retail, hopefully we won't have a long wait before we see these guys on the pegs.

Man, I'm really liking Hatchet! I'd like to see more pics of him.

Exactly what size is "Commander Class" anyway? Scout-ish? I'm trying to guess by the level of detail/articulation on each figure, but I'm still not sure.

Hatchet is probably going to find his way onto my shelf. The rest are of no interest to me.

I don't know if I'll get Cyberfire BB, but the paint job actually looks kind of cool. I had already been thinking of getting Nitro BB, since I love the BTTF styling, and I don't know if I want two BB repaints. I'll just wait and see what I think when there are better pictures.

It's just DOTM Deluxe 'Bee with new paint. Even their weapons are the same.

Ah, okay then. I barely pay attention to BB coz I care so little about him..that pic just happened to actually look good for once, hehe.

It great that we can finally see some of the future waves for this line (considering that this is all that we're going to get for a while). It's too bad that it seems they are just mostly repaints (in the deluxe line). Personally, I wish there were some more original molds in the line (especially wish Sideswipe would get a new one or at least use the Sidearm mold). But Hatchet (in the commander class) looks kinda neat (that is the Voyager class right?). So far it seems that I'm only going to get 2 or 3 from this line, it seems kinda boring

First of all, Commander Class is Cyberverse, and are inbetween Legends and Scouts in size. And Sideswipe is a new mold altogether, check the galleries.

Ty for the clarification. I had forgotten the Sideswipe had a new deluxe mold. I guess the way they transformed him in the picture just made me think it was the old mold, my mistake

deluxe Jolt looks pretty rad, but i don't want to open the floodgates just yet on that. I know if i buy him, I'll start on a downward spiral and start getting them all, and i do not want to have a repeat of RotF! I must say, Hatchet is a must have, goddamn that thing is gorgeous!

3 Waves, 13 figures and out of that there are 3 that I would consider buying and one that falls into the "Doesn't suck so maybe I'll but it" category. That's a pretty lousy track record you have going there Hasbro. You don't even give us the last 2 waveS of figures in your other 2 lines (at least not in my region) and then you heap 3 waves of mostly crap on us. Way to go!

That being said, I have managed to snag a Shockwave, but havn't found any Deluxes beyond Wave 1. I wants me some Laserbeak.

Pretty much. Bumblebee has become the posterbot for the Movieverse, hence them abusing the character like this.

Man...I'm going to be broke. I actually like that Bee repaint. At least it isn't another Cannon Bumblebee.
And Laserbeak actually looks good to me this time!

Well, I do know that, I was just listing the Bumblebees I thought were really good, I'm not liking the new ones though, but hey, I don't have to get everything.

Kid-appeal characters > Hero characters. Any day.

All I care is that I finally have a Barricade who isn't a f*cked up lump of plastic, that's actually balanced and posable, has actual HANDS and ARTICULATE ARMS without some stupid ass cheap gimmick, and actually looks decent.

Just ditched his stupid weapon and gave him a pair of extra blasters. EVIL COP PISTOLS!

Honestly, while I don't like them per say, I think MechTech was a WONDERFUL idea... if only because it puts the stupid gimmick Hasbro insists every movie figure have in a piece that's removable, allowing the figure itself to be better.

Still don't need THREE F*KING BUMBLEBEES IN AS MANY WAVES though. Especially since they're trying to trick stupid kids with the different paintjobs and weapons. If you're going to repaint/retool a mold, at least make it a different damn character.
