Million Pubishing has revealed their exclusive Stepper figure. This figure looks to be exclusive with the upcoming Transformers Generations 2011 book set for release April 27. This figure is a repaint of Reveal The Shield/ United Jazz just as Takara exclusive G1 Targetmaster Stepper released in the Headmasters line was a repaint of G1 Jazz. He was known as Ricochet in the U.S. released in the Commemerative Reissue Series. He is seen here holding a repaint of Nightstick.

No further details such as price and availability have been announced but this might be the first of these exclusives I will buy.

That is pretty freakin sweet.

I can't help but think that Hasbro will put this out eventually, but I may be picking this up as well, depending on price.

I really hope I can get my hands on one of these! I had been hoping somebody would make Ricochet/Stepper! Still, my only quarrel with this figure is that they left his visor blue.

The head's expression suits Stepper alot better than it does Jazz , though I sorta wish it was the other way around. :-?

Definitely gonna be getting this. Hmmm, I'm kinda surprised that Stepper is gonna be and exclusive.

I pretty much assumed Stepper would show up, as he is one of the 2 obvious Jazz repaints.

I'm a bit surprised he'll be an exclusive though. :BANG_HEAD:

@xiaojeilui

Quit it man! 12 posts already and you still continue with that same schtck. Do it somewhere like 1up.

Now back to the fig, smart money is either they'll use the TFC "Nebulon" or Cyclonus' "Nightstick".

Though I wish (which won't)the original Jazz had a more "cheerful" expression while Stepper with the bad @ss one to distinguish one from the other.

I am very tempted to order the Million Publishing Transformers Generations book to get my hands on this. Stepper looks superb.
There should be more black and gold Transformers because it looks really cool. Black Zarak, Stepper, can't think of any more off the top of my head.

That's a sweet repaint and a well-done homage. It's too bad they couldn't include an homage to the Targetmaster aspect of the original by including something like Nightstick to clip onto the spoiler.

F**K YES. THIS. THIS ON SO MANY LEVELS.
This has got to be the single greatest idea I've heard of in a while. I do hope that Hasbro decides to do a "Ricochet" over here some day, since there's no way I've got the cash to spare for this, despite how freakin' epic it is.

The figure is OK. Im more interested in characters represented in the G1 cartoon than those that came out after 1988 when Transformers was on life support. However, he would fit in great with my small G2 collection. Does he come with the same book talked about last week ??? Or will this book only be available in Japanses ???

Either it's G2 Jazz, or SG Ricochet who has a color scheme based on G1 Artfire. Speaking of Artfire, where is he? I want them both as Classics!

That's Gold Baby!

Yessssss!

Now give me my 'golden lagoon' version too..., but Stepper was the one I was waiting to hear announced. Still waiting to hear about an Artire repaint. Thought they might be a cool set for someone like HASBRO to sell to a store as a retailer exclusive.

I was thinking G2 Jazz.
I would not expect SG Ricochet to be anything other than a con exclusive.

You sure about Artfire? G1 Artfire was a white/red Inferno repaint. G2 Artfire was kinda close, but more like Cybertron Hotshot/Excellion I think.

Golden Lagoon Jazz was my thought, as there has been an e-Hobby exclusive of the G1 re-issue made previously.

Ik knew this the moment Jazz showed up. Why pass up a perfectly good repaint? So here's to hoping Hasbro Ricochets this thing.

There is no G2 Artfire. You're probably thinking Car Robot Artfire aka RiD Hot Shot who bears Steppers colors and intended name.

Finally an exclusive from Million Publishing that is an absolute MUST have!

I'm surprised this went under our radar like this for so long. Does anyone know anywhere that has a pre-order for this yet? I emailed Joel at BBTS to see when they would be listing it. I'll let you guys know when I hear back from him.

I'll be putting in a preorder as soon as BBTS list it. It's been over a year since I had an order come in from them but there's quite a bit I'm after this summer. By the time I'm ready to ship my big and expensive PoL should translate into an awfully big box of awesome.

They still might. Stepper (as Ricochet) has been on their radar before. Like I mentioned, a store exclusive set of he and Artfire seems like a logical offering to make by them...

This is why I didn't get why they didn't make Fracas for Scourge. They could have done a really awesome multi-pack for Artfire and Stepper/Ricochet with their respective Targetmaster partners. Or maybe Scourge will get a remold later down the road (keeps fingers crossed).
Re: Toy Images Of Million Publishing Exclusive Stepper Figure (1211467)

Likely the original design included Fracas with Scourge, and some boss could have said, "Let's use 8mm pegs on that gun," which led to the trade off of axing articulation on the Targetmaster.

No matter what, the point of Fracas would make for a great Botcon panel question.

They can always just throw one of the other PCC minicons in. I would like to see Leadfoot's partner, Pinpointer I think was his name, get used again before this whole thing goes away.

How much do you wanna bet they'll give an answer like:

"As Power Core Combiners was running alongside Generations, the decision was to keep the smaller partner aka Mini-Con gimmick limited to the former line to avoid confusion"

Or they'll just cite cost...

That didn't even occur to me that Hasbro might have left out Fracas to avoid confusion with the PCC line.

But yeah, cost may have been the bigger issue.

I thought they said as much during the Designer's Panel at last year's BotCon? The gun does look reminiscent of a folded up Targetmaster, which was what they were going for.

They easily could have. That panel was seriously overwhelming, and I definitely missed the part where they said anything about the Targetmaster originally, or at least I willfully forgot about it.

I think it's more of a matter of them homaging movie characters, and by popular opinion, two of the worst characters ever, even surpassing G1 Wheelie.
