aw, I mentioned the Autobot Heroes pack being that price a few weeks ago (but think maybe i forgot to mention it was toys r us). Had me clicking this thinking it was cheaper. Still probably cheaper to import the set from the US when they have it on sale (sometimes works out about £65 before shipping)

Kapow sale currently has that scourge cyclonus set for £30. They did have the autobot hero pack but that seemed to go very quick.

Couple of bits,
Firstly smyths had blitzwing on the advert yesterday for transformers generations, but the page wouldn't load, don't know if f an update is coming.
Secondly did you guys know target now has an international online store. The platinum heroes pack (Magnus, oil, springer etc) is on there for £70

Ooh; those are some really nice prices, especially on the Boxsets and Leaders. Any idea what shipping's like?

They have 4 delivery options, 3 you pay taxes there and then, the other pay on arrival (or hope it slips through).
Not sure on the prices, but they could charge £50 and it would still turn out cheaper

Whacked the platinum Magnus, Arcee, Kup, etc set into my cart and clicked through to checkout to investigate shipping rates:
"Postal" takes a few weeks to deliver, costs £13 and you pay taxes on arrival
"Standard" takes a fortnight, you pay taxes upfront and are looking at £13 shipping AND £13 tax
DHL get it done pretty quick (about a week) but charge close to £20 with about £15 tax (or taxes on arrival)
I assume it'll vary a bit depending on size/weight but I think that platinum set is probably one of the biggest boxes to ship TF-wise
Honestly I was expecting worse! Not gonna actually buy anything (yet, at least) but it's a legitimately viable option especially being so much cheaper on the big ticket items
Weirdly, that platinum set was one of the few things the site allowed me to add to the cart. Guessing there's a lot out of stock or not valid for international shipping but nothing was marked as such...
EDIT: Just spotted they've got a code UKSHIP for £15 off UK shipping when spending £70 or more. Wonder if it still counts if it would reduced the shipping to 0?

While their prices are usually nothing to write home about, UK retailer A1 Toys has put on an insane flash deal for a few G1 Platinum sets - the Decepticon Seeker Squadron and Autobot Intel Ops sets are going for £39.99 each, while the Insecticon and Triple Changers sets go for even lower at £19.99! If you're in the UK and interested in some G1 goodness, you'd best hurry as A1's Twitter says that this sale only lasts for this weekend. Click on the image below if you're interested, but be sure to make your decision quick!

Is there any differences in the decals or colours on the Conehead Reissues to previously released versions of the same toys ?
Like with Thrust's launchers or the stickers for example.

Not UK per se, but ships here and is hard enough to come by cheaply.
Unite Warriors Bruticus £20.68 free postage
Looks suspiciously/insanely cheap - I paid well over £100 for mine (well worth it).
If it's legit, it's an absolute bargain.

Hey all. I'm from the US and visiting London in about 2 months time. I'm assuming the exchange rate will likely discourage me from buying any TFs in the UK over the US. However, just wondering if there any cool toy stores that are worth a visit, TFs or non-TFs? I'll be staying near Canary Wharf, and would rather not go too far unless it was truly worth it or near another major tourist attraction. Thanks!

Beads? Ah, well, have to admit it's not entirely surprising. Hope they're nice beads at least.

Not sure if you are aware, but Kapow Toys have more stock of MP-36 to ship. I know these are selling fast.

Found TLK Turbo Changers, Tiny Turbo Changers and Legions at Toytown; as well as RiD Combiner Force Crash Combiners and Mini-Con partners. All appear to be just Wave 1; didn't get a picture of the TTCs as they were just at the last second at the shop counter - sorry
Also, they had CW Wave 4 Deluxes on sale at £10 and CW Wave 5 Voyagers on sale at £17. Which certainly makes the price of the new stuff look even more rip-offy...

So Kapow has Fortress Maximus down to £100, and this doesn't seem to be a temporary drop.
