In the first video, they cheated out of Optimus' vehicle mode by using the one from the original movie(s)!

I can understand why they went with the quick change toys. Kids want to mimic the stuff they see on screen. What bothers me is how SO MANY of the toys are like this. There are only a few toys for AoE I think I'm getting. I'll get the one-step Optimus because Optimus but the rest look awful. That's unfortunate.

This is my concern as well being in the engineering field. I love complicated but well done transformations and from what I've seen that seems to be lacking in every figure from this line. Actually, now that I think about it, DOTM had the same problem and I bought nothing from that line either. :-(

Not a fan of the Skyhammer mold, and Drift being a helicopter and a car raises all kinds of scale issues (and before you start, Movieverse has been pretty good at avoiding blatant mass-shifting; not perfect but helicopter->car is definitely something they'd not do).

So it looks like Slog's weapons are removable. Cool!

That's not silver. That's just a lazy excuse not to use much paint.

Great now they decide not to use chrome :BANG_HEAD: . I feel like this would actually look nice with a ton of chrome or some silver paint.

That's weird. The original FE AoE OP blinded you with it's chrome overkill. The redeco where it is SUPPOSED to burn your eyes out with it's shine is more drab than the Voyager Galvatron.
The very awesome box art is a goddamn LIE. Yet one more excuse to not own the FE AoE mold.

It's got paint amounts comparable to the One-change Optimus, or atleast I think that's what it's called... All I can say is that I like his weapons, they don't look bad.

Transformers Colombia, a Facebook fan page, has provided the first official in and out of package images of the upcoming Age Of Extinction Voyagers Drift and Slog, courtesy of group member Felipe León Nájera.

Drift, as a helicopter, has been speculated by the fans and they felt they were onto something and now they finally have confirmation with visual proof. Drift, will in fact make an appearance (at least as a toy) in a helicopter alt mode. It should be noted that Drift is a redeco/remold of DOTM Skyhammer.

Slog is Sludge reimagined, and he looks pretty massive and strong. And packin' a lot of heat! Hopefully he and the other Dinobots will get a chance to tear up the scenery on the big screen and the audience will have fun going along for the ride!
