JUST ANNOUNCED!!!

During the Transformers Collectors' Club panel today, it was announced that the Club will be rolling out a figure subscription service. Gallery can be found here.

Figure subscription service
No price points yet
Showed us all of the figures
Way this will work: sign-up period that will last 3 or 4 weeks
2 options can pay in full or 3 installments
Will be able to login and see every email pertaining to your subscription service
Will be able to update your address so it will go to your new address
Not sure if it will be 2 or 1 figure at a time

Figures shown:
Breakdown in G1 colors
Jackpot (Animated in Action Master style)
Scourge (Nemesis Prime colors, black Laser Optimus with upside down G2 Autobot symbol)
Slipstream (from TFP FE Starscream mold)
Circuit (from HFTD Axor mold, homages UK character)
Ultra Mammoth (Big Convoy mold done in Ultra Magnus colors)

What the heck? Unless they can drop the figure prices, who could afford to do this? Man, I really wanted an RTS RiD Scourge.

Scourge, Slipstream, and those seemingly random Action Masters seems interesting. Maybe I'll sign up and sell any that I don't want on eBay. Or maybe just to users on these forums that really want them.

Ultra Mammoth for the Lulz!

If I do sell the figures here, I won't do it for crazy jacked up prices like on eBay. I'll probably just take the price of the subscription and divide it by the total amount of figures released (i.e. if Subscription were $500, and there were six figures, I'd sell each for $84).

All I see is crap besides scourge that's the only one I want even next years free figure sounds shitty but I like that mold so if the paint job is nice than maybe but seriously not impressed at all with these guys

Well, that's a good thing I believe. More of an adult TF collector club. I would suppose they are trying to compete for our monies now.

Breakdonw, Slipstream, Animated Jackpot, and SCourge are all nice.

Ultra Mammoth, Circuit, not so much. Don't like the Axor head, and well, Big Convoy is a good mold, but not my collection cup of tea.

Urgh, that Slipstream just does not cut it. It has no bustiness... just coz its slender and seems to have heels doesn't make it a worthy mould for Slipstream. Just looks... wrong #-o

.
I hope we eventually do get a new mould for her, because that mould is PRIME Starscream, and thats it.

Of that bunch, Slipstream definitely might be worth checking out.

And "Ultra Mammoth"---that is so wonderfully cheeseball I don't know if I can resist.

Other than those two, though, pass.
