Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Build A Figure Arcee Revealed

Welp, I guess I'm tripling up on G1-style Arcee's now!

That’s a fine lookin Arcee. I dig the very Animated vibe she’s got goin on.

Ah man it's so sad that this Cyberverse Arcee is a leagues better designed version of the character then the Earthrise figure, and she even still has a big backpack so that puts it in perspective on how this figure doesn't even need to parts form.

Dang, Arcee looks pretty nice!

An MP, an Earthrise, and a Cyberverse toy, this is the year of the Arcee! And amazingly, I think i named those toys in reverse order for how good they are.

I think Cyberverse will be my Arcee for the year

And suddenly, excitement for Arcee has returned...

I think it helps that she is made for a concurrent show and not the idea of the character we have in our collective memories. Anyways, I have a G1 style arcee, even the headmaster version. I really don<t need another deluxe that is meant to be the G1 character. But one with cartoon aesthetic for a new cartoon line? Sign me up!

To be a little fair, she still looks very G1 in the show.

Seibertron now has a whole gallery with fresh new images and views of the Transformers Cyberverse / Bumblee Adventures display from the 2020 Toy Fair. Here we get clearer views and different angles for deluxes Arcee, Grimlock and Hot Rod as well as the upcoming Rack 'n' Ruin.

You can also spot Officer Class Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, Trooper Class Bumblebee Wildwheel, Meteorfire, Starscream and Megatron and warrior class cybertronian Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream, Optimus Prime and Hammerbyte (who I guess is not cybertronian).

We have official images of these toys as well and they show that deluxe Grimlock can remove his crown. Hurray!

That Arcee... Ew, that's the ugliest head I've ever seen. Like a Gray alien or something. At least she don't seem to be a partformer. Starscream look also pretty weird.

However that Grimlock look awesome and that shark guy will be MINE.

I'm hoping it's the eyes. This is a hand-painted prototype, and her eyes look pretty poorly painted. There's clearly molded detail extending above the painted areas, it's like they missed almost half the surface of each eye.

Arcee looks decent otherwise. Her alt mode is a bit meh, but I checked the cartoon (thanks to Ig89ninja for pointing out the episode) and it's accurate. Too bad she's a shellformer, but I guess that's better that shellforming and partsforming. She's probably the only Cyberverse figure I might be interested in.

I wish that Warrior class "Cybertronian Mode" Megatron had a black buckethead helmet and a damaged left eye like he has in the show.

And here's hoping with get a large toy of Astrotrain.

I actually really love Arcee's retro sci-fi girl space onesie look.

After having just watched Thunderhowl's debut episode, I want a toy of a new Cybertronian fauna that that episode introduced. It's called a Single Horn. What is a Single Horn, you ask? It is none other than a Cybertronian unicorn.

A Cybertronian unicorn that transforms into a rocket! That is awesome!

Hot Rod's vehicle mode is so reminding me of an old 1980's concept car that was never made into a production model. The 'edges' are so classic 80's. It's funny to think about... In the 1980's they tried to make Hot Rod's vehicle mode into a futuristic fantasy sports car and now we are in the future, past 2005 btw, we get retro-vehicle modes on some of the classic characters. I am just happy as a nerd can be with all the new renderings of classic G1 characters. The cycle has come around and this is truly a New Golden Era for Transformers and for the older fanbase of people like myself who grew up during the G1 era. I am over forty and trying to find certain figures in the recently released toylines of Transformers. I feel young again. I guess that makes me strange, I don't know. My hat is off to HASBRO and TAKARA-TOMY for all the great new releases and the ones yet to be released.

Interesting that they didn't show off Thunderhowl, yet the completed Maccadams was there

Not even her mother would find her beautiful.

Grimlock's robot mode looks great, dino mode less so but not awful. Still decent, overall.

Arcee looks unironically good! Head is a bit weird but as designs go I actually like it a whole lot. The robot mode is really cute, reminds me of a mashup between G1, Animated and her brief appearance in Bumblebee. I love the car mode too, looks like a little city car/hatchback.

Starscream looks kinda terrible but the Vic Viper jet mode is awesome.

Head looks off to me as well and when you said alien you rang a bell. She vaguely resembles the alien from the Species movie. I'll let you do your own image search on that one.

Thus far, the Ultimate class toys haven't been all that impressive. Grimlock's is decent, but just that: decent. Not great or amazing, just okay. The rest are incredibly basic and simplistic with little detail or articulation.

Iaconus, meanwhile, is a whole city with his body armor covered in cityscapes, and a complete berserker armed to the teeth with guns and weapons all over his body. So far, the Cyberverse line has not shown any capability of matching that level of detail and complexity, especially in its Ultimate size class.

The Unicron Haslab campaign was a lie, it was all about the Ultimate Iconus!

'Twould make more sense for the War Titan to be, well, a Titan.

I doubt they'd ever do a Cyberverse titan class so I guess Ultimate Class it is

Iaconus getting a toy would give hope to the chances of Croaton getting a toy as well, which would then allow fans to reenact the clash of the Titans between the two.

I personally hope that the Deluxe line continues long enough for a ShadowStriker to be made.

We can only hope.

However, word has it that Season 3 will be the final season of the show, so any more new Deluxes have to come out this year before whatever new series hits the airwaves to succeed and replace Cyberverse next year.

I don't know if I would call it "proper" since it's still a roughly hand painted prototype. I like the eyes a little smaller on the figure. Something about the shape of the cartoon eyes I find unsettling. It's the pointy bits on the inside.

That Arcee is ugly and creepy as hell even in the show.
So… yay toy accuracy?

The head is a bit weird, isn't it? It's probably on a balljoint though, so most likely easy enough to switch if someone makes a nicer looking Shapeways version.

Myself I'm almost tempted to get her and repaint her pink bits orange and make her into Animated Lickety-Split. That design is just too cute and the fact there's no toy of her makes me a sad hat.
