What the hell are these mech tech weapons? I have a faint idea they can combine with each other to form... something, otherwise their rough details can't be justified.

That Optimus looks awful, and wasn't he supposed to have a trailer?

It looks Optimus Prime will be fighting in space.. those pictures reek of "ready to battle out in outer space".

I hate to say it but... OMFG that Bumblbee looks great!
as for prime SHIT!
and as for the mechtech weapons i will be removing them on most/all dotm figures i get
and ironhide actually looks cooler than i thought. It would appear they have actually made a great voyager ironhide! besides recon ironhide lol

The new prime figure is starting to look pretty good imo. These pictures seem to have transformed properly. I am sure there is a movie explanation for this and I am sure this figure will be released with a trailer. Right now, I am gonna hold final judgement till I see the trailer's purpose with this figure but overall it is looking good.

HahaHaha
Let's hear the defense for these wrecks.
Other the good side, that Megatron looks really cool if it was any character other than him. Makes me think of the Spotlight Drift

The DotM toy line is turning into nothing but a train wreck. Actually, a train wreck typically has more that's worth holding ones interest and so far the only thing this line has that is of any real interest (to me anyways) is the HA dunebuggy. I think Hasbro is taking an awful big risk messing with the movie line and adding gimmicks. They already have the gimmicky PCC's they should have stopped there and played it safe.

ok. i'm goin to be blunt here. YEs optimus is coming wiht a trialer and that's awesome, but given the sheer craptacular nature of his voyager toy. i'm now not expecting much from the trailer interactiveness.
Bumblebee is a waste of a leader spot, and his "MechTech" Weapon is epic fail.

Those MechTech weapons HAVE to combine into something. Otherwise they're just oddly shaped lumps of plastic. Bumblebee's especially look like they could be arms.

I must say, the DOTM line is looking extremely underwhelming. I'm not the slightest bit interested in yet another an out-of-scale Bumblebee, and the Prime looks awful. I'm hoping it's lacking some of the paint apps that the final version will have, because he is extremely bare looking in vehicle mode, and he seems to have solar panels or something on his hood and roof. I hope that this isn't an indicator for what the whole line will be like. Oh well, on the bright side, at least I'll be able to dedicate more money to getting Classics/Universe figures I missed and to my Lego collecting.

I think I'm gonna pick up some of the new robots introduced in TF3 and just use the previous movie molds of the returning characters. Bumblebee looks like crap in robot mode and Prime's chest isn't that great of an appeal to me. It looks like an Activator's chest or something.

I hope that Megatron is still a prototype... It looks like it needs more paint. And hopefully there will be a leader class...

It's a bit odd how the figures seem to be more shellformer-ish and blocky than their predecessors. Then again, I guess you can only recycle the exact same characters so many times before they become too similar to each other.
The transition from TF to ROTF allowed for some tweaks here and there, but for the transition to DOTM that's pretty much impossible without recycling the characters wholesale. So they apparently started doing 'other' stuff. Hate Megacape all you want, he seems to be the most convincing figure so far just for being something wholly different.

WTF? what happened to OP? Why didn't they just re-use the HFTD Voyager (scaled-down ROTF Leader version) mold? That thing is hideous! Is there a possiblity it could be a FAB? Are those solar panels on him too?
Now, Leader BB looks good.
We just need someone to leak what all those "mech-tech" weapons/parts form.
So far I only have plans for the 'Con SUV, the Wreckers, Megatron, Shockwave (hopefully he'll be revealed soon), red Ferrari, fire truck, 'bot from the end of the teaser trailer.

Ironhide's gun kinda looked like an arm, Bumblebee's looks sorta like a torso. Perhaps they (and all Mech Tech) combine to a larger bot?

I'd imagine the shoulder bits will fold down for a more realistic arm, and he may very well be backwards. Still, I'm getting a little excited for potential fan-combiners.

gonna be really selfish and say i'm glad at the fact that these figures are not enticing me in anyway. Have spent too much on classics and will continue
will buy one or 2 token movie figures but only at very reduced prices
and i'd like to see the explanation for megatron's taking on onslaught's alt mode

What the hell? Did they FIRE everyone that designed the ROTF figures and replaced them with mongoloids?

What in the hell did i just see? These things not transformers things look terrible. I'm not a huge fan of movie-verse to start with but even I will say that ROTF had toys ten times better than this. Only a completely blind fanboy could ever say anything about these guys resemble redeemable qualities.

WARNING!!! WARNING!!! RANT ALERT !!! RANT AlERT!!! am i the only one who wants bumblebee to die within 5 seconds of the movie starting because i am officially sick of it he jas no dialogue, he does very little in both films, he is way too overrated and why do kids love him when he does nothing, prime is normally the most important character. i reckon if they did kill bee it would be 1986 movie all over again. DIE BEE DIE. wheres my giant can of bug spray
