Transformers DOTM: Laserbeak Toy Revealed?

One of several wonders of the internet, Taobao.com has an auction on it for a new very interesting animal character, thought to be first glimpsed VERY briefly in the Superbowl trailer for TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON. People were unsure if they actually saw this character, but a later news story revealed a new list of items available showing that a certain 'condor' seemed to be making his debut appearance in the DOTM toyline, thus confirming the previous uncertainty.

Alright, vagueness aside, plenty of time for spoiler sensitive fans to duck out. Without further ado, we present what is being touted as 'buzzard' or Laserbeak by the seller.

No more speculation it seems, Soundwave's favorite minion (yeah, he is...) looks to actually be joining the movie-verse.

So what are you seeing in this guy's hands? Looks like some form of aerial vehicle (Cybertronian) that transforms into a dragon type creature, or a condor with a very long neck.

Well, the pics are kind of terrible, so I'll reserve judgement. But where did Hasbro's paint budget for this line go, exactly? Everything is all primer grey. I-)

OH man! i agree with kirbenvost about needing better pics, otherwise, just buy a Robot Chicken figure and custom make some jetpacks and guns and call it Laserbeak! Actually Robot chicken could be better than this.

please dont be laserbeak be divebomb or some one else but not laserbeak. looks like a goddamn zoid, great so now we have gundams and zoids, yeah it sounds awesome but not when its suppose to be transformers.

So now, we sit back and wait til 2013 when Michael Bay admits that DOTM really was bad after all.

Of course, none of it will be his fault. He's only responsible for the awesome parts. :BANG_HEAD:

So true...

But if Soundwave, Frenzy, Ravage and Laserbeak fight together in a scene doTm it could be awesome (despite Frenzy and ravage being dead but that hasn't stopped bay before)

Is that a tounge on laserbeak?

Hey its Laserbe.....wait what the hell is that? Good God Masterforce what were they smoking when they made this figure....I might want some just to see what it is the design team saw in this figure.
Hasbro isn't gonna make much money off the DOTM line this year, but as for 3rd party teams out there they might have a field day with this line.

The Transformer itself is O.K. the guns tolerable, but the head is just making me rage! I never saw laserbeak as some weird Buzzard, Vulture looking thing.

It looks like a Bakugan. I hope this line looks better in person - otherwise the only thing costing me money is the movie tickets.

I'm usually not the kind of person who gets mad when a character we all know and love gets updated, wherether it's a different alt mode, voice, or even gender in some cases, but, I'm sorry it's just that, Laserbeak shouldn't be a bald eagle...it just doesn't make sense I mean...how can someone think that's a good idea? :-(

Also I don't know about you guys, but I'm happy with my Booster X10 >.>
EDIT: I have to admit, that the weapons are pretty rad.

I think the picture quality is too low for me to actually get a good look at it. But if Laserbeak is in DOTM hopefully that means a slightly larger role for Soundwave.
