Wait a slagging minute, marked down TO about $70? It's more than the price of a leader figure at the size of a voyager? Are you guys really going to buy that? I'd rather get leader class bumblebee than pay that price for this!

I want this. Yeah, it seems to be a brick, but some of the biggest, coolest TFs ever are bricks. This guy would look fantastic next to God Ginrai, and maybe Star Convoy. I might be able to needle my wife into letting me buy him, but maybe I'll wait. $70 is a lot of money for a single toy, cool as it may be.
It looks like the elbows and knees get disabled w/ the armor added one, I wonder if it could be modded to allow more articulation. Sounds like a challenge!
EDIT- I don't recall seeing comparison pics of this guy with the regular Voyager Optimus, could someone point me to them if I missed them?

well, he DOES just sort of slip into it, it's practically a mech suit.
so im just gonna ask. can you put battle blades prime in there or not? Pics are appreciated!
I just hate the scrawney look of that prime! the truck fists and oddly placed backpack and practically protoform legs just rub me wrong. but it's combined mode is BEAST! It is articulated, and it's huge! HUGE!

cool i expect to be able to find this brick n mortar like Leader class not one parents will be excited to spend this much moola for. If I decide I want it, Human Alliance has my attention the most as well as some Takara prods as far as DOTM goes

Ya know, the more I see this particular Prime WITHOUT his armor, the more it makes me want a similiar trailer made to fit ROTF Prime.

I like it but there's no way I'm gonna buy it until it's marked down. The robot alone is smaller than a leader and he doesn't have a weapon in that mode.

The combined mode looks okay, but by himself, the OP fig looks barely worthy of voyager class.
The kids will definitely find it easier to transform him as opposed to the leader class ROTF OP, but I do wonder if parents will pay that kind of money for it. If I ever buy this, it'll be strictly for my cousin's kids.
I'm opting for the dual model kit and Jetwings OP.

I Ordered it too about a half hour ago. free standard shipping to my house was a steal of a deal that I couldn't pass up.
I paid about $68 for mine.
So perhaps,since my USA state has a 6 percent sales tax. walmart.com is charging the sales tax rate that everyone's individual USA state offers.
