So Alpho Bravo is colored almost completely red in his alt mode, kinda like Universe 2.0 Blades.

Hmm robot Kingdom have preorders for wave 2 already...
Can't quite drop the cash yet, but looks like a late Jan release for Motormaster and the remaining Aerialbot/Stunticons.

Finally got in on the CW action today. Picked up Silverbolt and Bombshell for now, until I get more dough after Christmas.

Silverbolt looks great in 'bot mode and I love the transformation to Superion's torso. Really smart to make his arms the Combiner's thigh, to give it that extra bit of stability, and the joint are nice and tight so it feels like it'll hold well. The alt mode looks great apart from the whole bot underneath, but that's not really an issue since I don't plan on having him displayed upside down! Although from the side you can really see his arm, but when displaying side on I plug the weapon into the back of the fist and it really looks cool there. Makes me want a 2nd weapon so I can do the same either side. My only gripe with Superion is that the rubber antennae don't stay upright. Looks like he's got rabbit ears! I may have to take them off and see what I can do.

Bombshell is a brilliant little figure, by the way, in both modes. My dilemma is that I now have 3 mismatching Insecticons on my CHUG shelf. 2 Legends with different colour schemes and the Deluxe FoC Kickback. I don't mind the colours being a bit off but I do hope they release a Legends sized Kickback. FoC Kickback is a great figure but I like the idea of the Insecticons being Legends sized.

So glad Alpha Bravo can use his fist/foot as landing gear, doesn't look nearly as strange in helicopter mode anymore.

With regards to the "rabbit ears" try loosening the screw in the back of Superions head, I did this with mine, I loosened it about halfway and the antennae now fold up perfectly straight.

Thank for the tip. I tried this but it didn't make a difference. However, if I then tighten the screw back with the antennae pushed as far forward as they can go they hold in place. When I transform him back to jet or robot mode they go back to how they were as the antennae get pushed back. Just means I need to repeat the process when displaying as Superion, which isn't much of a bother. Nonetheless, thanks for the tip as it's solved it in a roundabout way!

Also, this may sound like I'm pointing out the obvious, but for those that like to display their planes on a raised stand and worry about seeing the robot underside, you can at least get rid of his legs by folding in Superion's chest pieces. It makes the undercarriage of the jet look a lot better, but becomes unstable when put on a flat surface (not that you'd care on a flat surface though, unless it's see-through). Can't do much about covering up the arms, but as I said before a side angle looks good when you plug the big gun in the back of the fist.

I really feel that the designers were simply giving us an update on the G1 toys and tried to replicate the look as much as possible, including where the kibble is, but with more articulation.

Hurray! For the first time in years SMYTHS in Ireland are stocking Generations toys. The first wave of Combiner wars toys are in Stock (in Waterford anyway)

Deluxes (€19.99)
Image

Legends (€12.99)
Image

No Windcharger but I am never going to buy him anyways

Voyager (€28.99)
Image

Optimus was there as well, just didn't take a pic

Thanks I just hope they will continue to stock them and not give up after about two waves. Of course the prices need to go down a bit, I'm not paying €20 for a deluxe

I'm gonna stop complaining about US prices going up.
I saw on the voyager box 28euro. Just converted, 28euro = 35 usd. Yikes!
I know the euro and pound are stronger than the dollar, but come on!
Is it more expensive to distribute over there?

Dude, that is nothing compared to how overpriced the Deluxes are: 19.99 euros = 24.34 US$. YIKES! (in comparion, of course)

Well over here in England Voyagers Silverbolt and Prime are £22.99 which, again, is about £35 converted. I actually thought £22.99 was cheap, but that's because Smyths and TRU are big chains, so can price more competitively. On the UK based sites and smaller stores Voyagers are usually around the £27 mark (almost $42).

Well f*ck

Just broke Silverbolt. Right near the hinges of the piece where Superion's head is attached to.

Still holds together for now, but the other side is also seriously showing strain.... Be careful when you transform him!
